Brief History
In 2004, group of Alumni started
helping needy students.
In 2007, trust fund formally
registered and a committee
constituted.
Since there was another trust in
the Department, the trust was
explicitly named “MCA” but
intention is to extend benefit any
needy student
So far, we have helped 7 students
with their tuition/hostel expenses.
We have recently had two of
students, who benefited in the
past, start contributing to fund after
passing out!!

The 2010 - 20K Challenge
Trust Objective:
Assist students studying in PSG Tech - Dept of Mathematics and Computer
Applications, in their educations needs such as - scholarships towards tuition
and/or hostel expenses of students in need, fund creative/research activities as
appropriate, promote learning through sponsored lectures/speeches.

What is “The 2010 – 20K Challenge”? On average about 500 students studying
Raise $20K before start of year 2010 and establish a

corpus fund for equivalent of $20K (~ Rs. 10 Lakhs)
