TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
FORMAT: 36 holes stroke play. Field is limited to first 84 entered.
18 HOLES: Tuesday, August 11, 8:30 -10:30 a.m. first and tenth tees. Field will be repaired for second round by score.
18 HOLES: Wednesday, August 12, 8:30-10:30 first and tenth tees.
AGE CLASSES: 55-64, 65-and over.
AWARDS: Certificate prizes proportionate to entry numbers in each division. Trophy to overall champion.

HANDICAPS: This is a scratch event. Contestants must have an 7.4 index or lower to compete.
CONTESTANTS: Open to members of OGA Member Clubs or Associate Clubs with paid up 2015 dues. Contestants must be 55
or older on 8/11/15. Contestants will receive confirmation of entry, with hotel and registration information. Non Members may
enter, if they have an authorized handicap and are a resident of Ohio.
NON MEMBERS: Total number of non members can not exceed 10 for this event. If that number is not reached by deadline, it
will be opened to a waiting list for those wishing to play.
ENTRY FEE: Entry fee of $250 Members and Associate Members, $275 for Non Members. Entry fee includes lunch Monday and
Tuesday and breakfast Wednesday. All three days cart and practice range fees are included in entry fee.
SPECIFICATIONS OF CLUBS AND THE BALL
a. List of Conforming Driver Heads.
On its Web site (http://www.usga.org) the USGA periodically issues a List of Conforming Driver Heads that lists driving clubheads
that have been evaluated and found to conform to the Rules of Golf. Any driver the player carries must have a clubhead, identified by model and loft, that is named on the current List of Conforming Driver Heads issued by the USGA. Exception: A driver with
a clubhead that was manufactured prior to 1999 is exempt from this condition. *PENALTY FOR CARRYING, BUT NOT MAKING
STROKE WITH, CLUB OR CLUBS IN BREACH OF CONDITION: Stroke play - Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurred;
maximum penalty per round - Four strokes. *Any club or clubs carried in breach of this condition must be declared out of play by
the player to his marker or a fellow-competitor in stroke play immediately upon discovery that a breach has occurred. If the player
fails to do so, he is disqualified. PENALTY FOR MAKING STROKE WITH CLUB IN BREACH OF
CONDITION: Disqualification.
b. List of Conforming Golf Balls
On its Web site (http://www.usga.org) the USGA periodically issues a List of Conforming Golf Balls that lists balls that have been
tested and found to conform with the Rules of Golf. The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming
Golf Balls issued by the United States Golf Association. PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION: Disqualification.
REGISTRATION: All contestants are required to register at Mount Vernon CC Monday, August 10. A player may call the OGA to
pre-register, if he is unable to get to the course on Monday. If a player fails to register, his spot may be given to an alternate.
PRACTICE ROUND: Monday, August 10. PM shotgun. An informal four ball event will be held. Practice round cart fee is
included in entry fee.
PAIRINGS: Pairings will be mailed to all contestants one week prior to event. All entries shall be deemed to be by invitation and

are subject to OGA Board acceptance.

REFUNDS: No refunds after deadline date July 30, 2015 at 4 p.m. or when field fills (84).
CADDIES: Contestants may carry their own bag. The following constitutes a condition of the competition. Appendix I, restriction on who may serve as a caddie is in effect: . A player is prohibited from having a parent, guardian or another player in the
same competition serve as his caddie during the stipulated round.
