What is the most important animal in your country? Why is the

animal important?
Nowadays there is a hot topic upon the subject of the most
important animal in my country, Romania. People have different
opinions as Romanias fauna is extremely rich. Even so, I am
inclined to believe that the principal animal in our state is the
dog for there are several reasons.
Firstly, one cannot deny the fact that dogs often have a great
impact on social skills. People who spend more time around
dogs tend to develop a sense of responsability. They not only
admit that a dog is a soul and it must be treated with love and
affection, but they also understand that dogs must be trained to
respect certain rules. Therefore, people who own dogs are more
likely do be friendly, sociable and kind as the way they act in
their private life with their pets, manifests also in their public
lives. For instance, kids that grow up surrounded by dogs are
usually more loving and caring about the people close to them.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that dogs also
provide staple assinstance to disabled people. Living alone in a
house, with no neighbors willing to help you and having to rest
all day in a wheel chair is most often really depressing as you
cannot manage trivial activities by yourself. Thus, there has
been an increasing demand for specially trained dogs. For
example, seeing-eye dogs are the most requested. They not
only help blind persons to live an independent life , but they
also give them a sense of freedom. This kind of dogs are said to
increase disabled peoples moral and to offer them the second
chance to live the rest of their lives in a different manner.
In addition, in my country dogs are exalted for their ability of
saving lifes. There are cases in which people are murdered or
abducted and policemen do not have a start point because
tangible evidence is missing. Consequently, policemen choose
to ask for the help of their quiet colleagues, the dogs. In Canine

Police, dogs are trained to find lost children in extremely cold

conditions, people that are captive in fires and in plenty of
unsual situations with the help of their exceptional sense of
smelling. As a result, many people all over the world are
thankful to these dogs because they are the reason for them
being alive today.
Summing up, I consider that even if there are lots of important
animals
that I could choose from, dogs are the most
representative and key pets in Romania. Not only do they play a
major role in our everyday lives, but they also manage to
always make us feel protected and loved.

Some famous athletesand entertainers earn milions of dollars
every year. Do you think these people deserve such high
salaries?
Nowadays there is a hot topic upon the subject of athletes and
entertainers earning milions of dollar every year. Some people
claim that they earn more than they deserve and there are
actually other persons who should be rewarded with as much as
athletes are. I am inclined to believe that athletes and
entartainers gains these huge amounts of money because they
have the right to. Moreover, there are several reason for which I
do not oppose to this statement.
Firstly, one cannot deny the fact that in order to gain millions of
dollars you have to be the best in your work field. Hard work,
sacrifices, perseverance and the willingness to succeed finally
pay off. Thus, most athletes and entertainers have been
working hard since adolescence so as to enjoy the things that
they have today. None of this people have stopped and waited
for rewards to come. They knew that success is made out of
work and only work. As a result of so many years of hard work
done behind the TV screen, they can finally get their prize even
if to some people it seems quite excessive. For instance, one
famous volleyball player said that until she had won the
National Championship, no one supported her financially. She
had to pay for the equipment and all the other things she had
needed which most often meant a huge sacrifice from her
parents.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that athletes and
entarnainers usually lack of intimacy. These people tend to
forget the boundary between their private and public lives. Not

only do they have to share their private lives with extremely

insistent paparazzi, but they also have to manage a perilous
public life as their high performances are at risk. By being a
high ranked athlete or entertainer, you usually sign specific
contracts that bring you certain benefits, but also some
difficulties. Athletes public image must be clean and out of any
trouble as their incomes might suffer. Therefore, another reason
for which both athletes and entertainers attain enormous sums
of money is that they no longer have any privacy and their
intimate lives are always in the public-eye.
However, a vast majority of people states that no matter their
reasons these people merrit so much money. They point out
that in this world there are individuals such as teachers whose
job is more difficult and has a greater impact on our society.
Additionally, people state that we tend to put more value on
things that do not last as much as educations does.
Consequently, there has been a growing controversery between
the people who support athletes and entartainers efforts and
the ones who appreciate a different kind of values.
Summing up, I consider that the impression given by the vast
quantities of money earned by athletes and entertainers is just
a matter of personal perspective. People do not have similar
ways of evaluating activities performed by others and as a
consequence there are a wide range of opinions among
individuals. Personally, I think both athletes and entertainers
fully justify the money they earn.

People remember gifts or presents that they received. Why?
Nowadays there is a hot topic upon the subject of people always
remembering the gifts that they receive from others. Too often
we hear how people are still amazed or elated by the present
they actually got a few years ago. I am inclined to believe that
there are several reason for which we cannot forget the things
we received from friends or kins.
Fisrtly, one cannot deny the fact that gifts inevitably remind us
of a happy event or situation. Maybe someone graduated or
somebody else has just got married. No matter the
circumstances, presents almost always maintain a lively vision
of a cheerful event. For instance, when I turned 18, my best
friends made a huge collage with plenty of photos of ourselves
made over the past years. Thus, whenever I enter my bedroom I
am reminded what a wonderful birthday party I had and how
thoughtful my friends were due to the huge painting hanged on
my wall.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that gifts most
frequently refresh the image of a beloved person from our lives.
Moreover, present might also be a symbol of a friendship. As a
matter of fact, gifts not only make someone happier, but they
also have a certain significance to the one who gets it. For

example, when one of my friends left for university, I felt sad

and extremely lonely. As a consequence, I received from her a
tiny cushion which was personalized with a picture of both of us.
Not only did I manage to handle easier her leaving, but I also
kept her in my mind everyday, knowing that even if she is far
away, we will still remain friends.
In addition, some people even state that gifts are also a way of
showing appreciattion and respect to the persons we cherish. A
feeling of love and admiration can be shared through tiny
presents offered everyday to the person we value the most.
However, some might claim that gifts are sometimes a waste of
money and maybe a false impression made on someones
feelings. It is said that giving presents does not necessarily
mean that you exalt someone for who they are, but for personal
interests. Consequently, there are various opinions on this
subject as people differ in perspectives and ideas.
Summing up, I consider that gifts are an important part of our
lives as they can take us from a depressing mood to a cheerful
one in a matter of seconds. Personally, I think that presents
have a greater impact on our lives than we have ever thought.

Nowadays there is a hot topic upon the subject of taking into
accoount or not famous peoples opinions. As far as we can see,
there are plenty of actors, athletes or rock stars who share their
ideas through media and thus some people are influenced by
their opinions. I am inclined to believe that we can choose
whether we let these opinion have an impact on our lives or
not.
Firstly, one cannot deny the fact that at least every person is
impressed even a little bit when we see a certain personality on
TV. There are times when we admire a celebrity or when we are
disgusted with her presence in a reality-show, for instance. In
both cases, we still tend to pay attention to her actions, words
or even behaviour. As a matter of fact, our first instinct as
human beings is to listen to those who managed to get their
lives to a higher level than ours. Therefore, through media
famous people actually got the chance to manipulate in a way
or another ordinary peoples lives. Take for example todays
teenagers who choose to follow some trends just because Miley
Cirus likes them.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that sometimes
people do not make a difference between their lives and famous

peoples lives. An ordinary man it is not followed constantly by

paparazzi. An ordinary man can distinguish his private life from
his public life, but a celebrity cannot. Consequently, when an
actor or an athlete claims that their life is in general difficult
and tiring, that does not necessarily apply to the rest of the
society. However, a vast majority of people tends to guide their
lives after the experiences of others. As a result, not only do
they immitate celebrities, but they also waste precious time
thinking following others thoughts.
On the other hand, some people claim that we should pay
attention to famous peoples opinions as they are more
experienced and know how to deal better with difficulties.
Celebrities are said know more information about the real world
than us and this way their opinions are not only accurate, but
also reliable.
Summing up, I consider that each of us has a life that is not
similar with someone elses and it is not appropiate to be
guided by another persons judgements. I believe that we are
capable of making great decisions and we do not have to be
influenced by others.

Which would you choose : a high-paying job with long hours
that would that would give you little time with your family and
friends or a lower-paid job with shorter hours that would give
you more time with family and friends?
Nowadays there is a hot topic upon the subject of making more
money but spending less time close to your kins or gaining less
money, but having more time around your friends and family.
Some people choose to reach the zenith of their careers, leving
behind more valuable things than money. I am inclined to
believe that a lower-paid job with shorter hours would offer me
more benefits for several reasons.
Firstly, one cannot deny the fact that a job with shorter hours
gives us the chance to invest time in people you love and care

about. Relatives and friends are the most important people in

our lives and thus they deserve the most precious gift we could
ever offer them, our limited time. Whether we go to the cinema
or just for a walk in the park, people appreciate little things.
Therefore, I tend to believe that in compulsory to maintain and
avoid neglecting both family and friendly relationships if we aim
to a happy life. For instance, parents who know that their kids
are their most precious tresures, will eventually give up on jobs
that do not leave them enough time to spend with their
children. Consequently, children will not forget to appreciate
their parents effort when they are old and in need of help.
Secondly, there is no argue against the idea that money does
not always bring happiness. Most bussiness men end up being
surrounded by false and greedy people that are interested only
in their bank account. As a matter of fact, I would hate to know
that the persons who pretend to be my friends are not actually
who they say they are. As a consequence, gaining a moderate
sum of money does not seem to attract this kind of people for
individuals are envious about those who have better financial
situations than them.
In addition, in life it is said that memories are the most
important and beautiful parts of our short journey. Missing
staple moments from my kids life, for example, will make me a
sad person when I am old. Knowing that I stood many hours in
my office just to add another zero to my cheques will not
replace my kids first word or first steps. As I mentioned, I am
convined that life is about memorable stories and not about the
money in your account.
However, a vast majority of people claims that money is
essential as you can live comfortably, offering your children
everything they want without any restictions. Moreover, it is
said that money opens you not only more doors into the entire
world, but it also lifts you up among other whealthy people. For
some, money represents both affluence and prestige attained

with plenty of hurdles to be passed by him, his family and his

friends.
Summing up, I consider life is given to us to be enjoyed and
spent with the people that mean the world to us. Personally, I
think that money can be gained anytime, but a life-time
memory does not return once missed.

It has been said Not everything that is learned is contained in
books. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from
experience with knowledge gained from books.
Nowadays, there is a hot topic upon the subject of the most
useful source of learning information. While some people state

that knowledge gained through experience is more valuable,

others claim that books have also a great impact on the
information we attain. I am inclined to believe that both sources
have several benefits, but one of them is more powerful.
On one hand, one cannot deny that nothing is more powerful
that the lessons we learn from our own experience. Once we
make a mistake, we will definitely know to avoid it or at least
how to act when something similar approaches. The things that
we feel on our skin are less likely to dissaper from our memory.
For example, when small babies want to touch the fire, they
first burn, but then they will know how to stay away from things
that harm them. Moreover, experience is considered one of the
most valuable treasures in ones life. People who restrain
themselves from taking risks or doing things they have never
done before usually miss the most interesting parts of our short
journey. Knowledge gained from experience is likely to turn over
years in life-time memories. Consequently, memorable events
are the little things that make someones life more appealing
and fullfilling. Also, knowledge learn from another source apart
from books, forms us as individuals. Most often, people who
learn from their own actions are more responsible and more
confident about their own potential as human being.
On the other hand, there is no argue against the fact that books
often give us the chance to learn from others mistakes. Being
able to read about different peoples life stories enables us to
detect similar situations that might occur also in our lives. We
may understand the way they acted, but as a famous quote
says it: Real life always beats the movie. Thus, real life is
almost always unlike any other story we read about.
In
addition, enriching our knowledge from books may help us get
a higher mark or even pass an important exam. But, does this
kind of knowledge lasts forever once we pass the test? Not
necessarily. Nevertheless, books may play an important role in
our formation and development, but their contribution is mainly
based on improving our general knowledge.

Summing up, I consider that knowlegde gained from experience

is essential and it outweights the benefits of knowlege attained
from books. Not only does experience make us more
independent and ready to face any difficulty, but it also
provides information never to be forgotten.

Nowadays there is a hot topic upon the subject of the past

being useless for those of us who live in the present. Some say
that once the past is gone, it should not have any impact on our
lives anymore, as the present moment is all that matters. I am
inclined to believe that our development as human beings
would not be possible if we did not take in account our past
actions.
Firstly, one cannot deny that learning about our previous
mistakes play a major role in our evolution. People who pay
attention to what they have done wrong, are more likely to
correct themselves. They are more likely not only to detect
future mistakes more easily, but they can also avoid them.
Thus, our past actions provide us a pattern which enables us to
become better and more cautious individuals. Take for example,
the moment when little kids encounter fire. Touching it for the
first time will definitely reveal them some pain, but next time
children usually stay away from it.
Secondly, there is no argue against the fact that the past
represents the basis of our knowledge. Modernisation would not
have been possible if scientists had not have a starting point.
Therefore, recent inventions were produced on the foundation
of what our ancestors knew and build at a certain time in the
past. As a matter of fact, not only does the past become a
staple component of our todays world, but it also emerges the
process of further evolution in all domains of work.
However, a vast majority of people claims that we must live in
the present, letting go the past. They state that remaing
attached to the past, can only make our future harder to
orientate in the direction we want. By constantly thinkning
about the past, we forget to appreciate the present that actually
creates our future. Consequently, these people point out that
the past cannot return and cannot be changed no matter of our
efforts, but we are able to improve this right moment, the
present. For example, someone might be angry that he broke
up with his girlfriend, but it is no use to spend the rest of his life

thinking about her. He had better went out and meet new
people, form new relationship and make the rest of his life, the
best of his life.
Summing up, I consider that we cannot expect to live a better
life if we do not take a look at our past. Personnally, I find that
learning about the past becomes becomes the starting point of
a better present.
