VISION STATEMENT

St. Benedict College of Cotabato, St. Benedict College of Kalamansig, and Southern
Philippines College of Health and Sciences or ST. BENEDICT COLLEGE OF
COTABATO SYSTEM is an educational institution aimed at building a culture imbued
with human values anchored on human dignity and love of God and country. Towards
this end it aims to develop value-driven students who are educated to be effective agents
of social change and empowered to be compassionate and pro-active leaders of the
nation.

MISSION STATEMENT
St. Benedict College of Cotabato System is a non-sectarian school in Mindanao and in
the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. It adheres to democratic traditions and
commits to instill values education and strengthen academic performance. Towards this
end, St. Benedict College of Cotabato System shall:
a. give every student, regardless of belief and status in life, the equal opportunity to learn
and be educated;
b. develop well-rounded graduates who can be dynamic leaders in their chosen
professions and who shall live guided by the values that seeks to promote unity,
patriotism, truth, justice, respect for life, respect for law and government, concern for the

family and future generation, concern for the environment and Faith in the Almighty
God;
c. inspire and empower students to use their knowledge, skills and trainings in becoming
responsible stewards of their homeland and agents of progress and development.

OBJECTIVES OF THE HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT


ST. BENEDICT COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT AIMS AT THE
TOTAL DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS. A graduate of SBC high school department
should be able to:
a. Live sound moral and spiritual values;
b. Discover and realize their vocation in life;
c. Develop right attitude towards work, and assumes responsibility for oneself and
others;
d. Understand and maintain social relationships;
e. Use English and Filipino effectively to express himself in simple oral and written
communication;
f. Reason logically, use abstractions and symbols with ease and understand its
relationships;
g. Apply and understand scientific and mathematical knowledge;
h. Apply knowledge about home and livelihood and demonstrate a skill for a job and
contribute to the man power needs of a growing community;
i. Manifest awareness of his/her culture and national heritage as well as the culture
of other people, and create an atmosphere of brotherhood through acceptance,
justice, and love;
j. Exhibit desire and capacity for higher learning, and recognize his potential and
responsibility to continue learning through life;
k. Show strength of character in life and in work;
l. Exhibit intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical capabilities to cope with the
demands of a developing Christian-Muslim community and show readiness for
service.
m. Love and serve the country.
