LEADING FEATURES
Large, bright internal space, modular design and low internal noise and vibration allow maximum flexibility and superior passenger
comfort. All these features combined make the AW189 the medium category helicopter of choice for the most demanding operations
worldwide. Its reduced overall dimensions make it suitable for operation on an extensive number of Offshore helidecks.
MISSION CAPABILITY
OFFSHORE / CREW CHANGE
SAR
All Weather Day and Night, VFR / IFR certified, the AW189
will operate seamlessly in the harsh conditions prevalent
in Offshore operations. The spacious cabin is configured
with 16 seats as standard. Seating options include a
high density 18 seat layout or an ultra long range 12 seat
configuration. High cruising speed and a very high payload
due to a highly efficient rotor system, together with superior
O.E.I capability, make the AW189 ideally suited to the safest
Offshore operations with the lowest operational costs.
Next Generation avionics expands further operational
capabilities, contributing to safety by enhancing situational
awareness and reducing crew workload.

PERFORMANCE
The AW189 is powered with two GE CT7-2E1 engines
delivering superior performance in speed and hover. The
helicopter aerodynamic shape and innovative rotor blade
design result in low fuel consumption which contributes to
an outstanding range capability. These factors enable the
AW189 to achieve optimum operator combination of high
payload and reduced fuel burn.
