1.0 The Concept of Brain:


The brain is like a muscle. When you use it, it grows and our mind produces
results. As you develop your mental capabilities, you learn things more easily.
When you first use a muscle that hasnt been exercised much, it gets sore. But, if
you keep doing your exercises, it adapts and gets stronger. This also applies to the
brain (Bylth, 2002, p. 7)

2.0 What is Brain Gym?


Brain Gym is a practical, dynamic, personal development program which can
benefit people of all ages. Easy to use with individuals and groups, Brain Gyms
twenty-six exercises and postures create a readiness of mind and body by
stimulating basic neurological senses (vision, hearing, touch, balance, and
proprioception) and activating neurological pathways throughout the brain. The
resulting whole brain integration awakens natural abilities and allows performance
to become effortless. Learning blocks resulting from slowed or inhibited
development can be released, leading to enhanced sensory and perceptual
functioning. Participants routinely experience improvement in concentration,
organization, communication, movement, fine motor, and near focus skills.

3.0 History of Brain Gym:


Brain Gym is a popular commercial program claiming that adherence to its
regimen will result in more efficient learning in an almost miraculous manner.
Brain Gym originated in the 1970s with Paul and Gail Dennison working on
ways to help learning disabled children and adults. Their field of study is named
educational kinesiology (Edu-K), and they feel it is a form of applied kinesiology.

4.0 How Brain Gym program run:


The program is based on the premise that all learning begins with movement and
that any learning challenges can be overcome by finding the right movements, the
performance of which will subsequently create new pathways in the brain. The
Brain Gym program centers around 26 movements or exercises designed to
integrate body and mind. This integration is achieved by establishing
interconnections in the anatomical, physiological, and neurological domains
(Wikipedia, 2009). More specifically, the activities are designed to activate various
parts of the brain by mimicking activities performed by infants and toddlers to
achieve brain development and integration. (Mind and body coach, 2009).

6.0 Why Brain Gym in Educational Institutes:


Understand even more deeply the process of learning and the factors that
inhibit it.
Drawing conclusions from the reading and applied brain research literatures,
as well as research examining the use of movement to enhance learning
named as the theory called learning through movement.
The study of drawing out innate intelligence through natural movement
experience means simple exercises and body movements help integrate the
left and right sides of the brain, thereby remediating learning problems and
helping the subject reduce psychological and emotional stress.
Learning 26 Brain Gym activities based on empirical experience which
emphasize processes such as balancing the brain and patterning behavioral
processes to make mind and body refresh and tenses free.
To minimize the disability of students with learning disabilities were unable
to effectively integrate visual and auditory perception.
To turn the brain on through balance activities, patterning activities are
assumed to dislodge learning blocks and unlock learner potential.

7.0 Logo:
For promotion Mind Gym as a service brand we made a logo. And the logo
describe clearly that its about gym of mind.

8.0 Slogan:
Also we have a slogan to promote Mind Gym as a service brand in our university
and outside of the university and that isBE STRESSLESS AND LEAD A CHEERFUL LIFE

9.0 Social Promotional Activity:


We recently opened a page on Facebook named Mind-Gym to reach maximum
students of East West University and give them mental or social support who are
facing trouble with academic, social or family purpose. Also we share post about
importance and benefits of doing mind gym in our Facebook page. We now reach
100+ students of East West University by doing promotional activity on our face
book page and here is the link of our page:

Its open for not only the students of East West University but also every student of
different universities who are really facing this problem in their life.
Not only Facebook we are trying to reach maximum amount of student who are
suffering mental stress by other social media like Whatsaap, Twitter, Skype, Viber,
Tengo and Vine.

10.0 Mind Gym Class:


We can create a Mind Gym class. After every week for 2 hour this class will be
taken by our honorable faculty members who are experts in motivational sector.
This can help lots of student who are facing this problem. They can join the class
and evaluate their problem and remove the stress from head.

11.0 Advertisement:
In our campus we can promote Mind Gym by set poster every busy area of our
university campus that make sure maximum student can reach the information
about mind gym.

12.0 Spoke Person:


Our spoke person of mind gym service brand is SSM. Sadrul Huda(Assistant
Professor)

13.0 Conclusion:
We know that the percentage of stressful student increasing at an increasing rate at
not only East West University but also every university in this country. Students
that in this situation cant handle this pressure and result is misbalanced of life.
This type of students cant focus their study, and their social life. They also
sometime misbehave with their friends and family. So here we can say Mid Gym
exercise is the perfect treatment of this type of student. It can help them to lead a
stresses less and cheerful life and they can enjoy their academic life also social and
their personal life without feeling any pressure.
