Organizational psychology studies the problems of fatigue, boredom, and

other working conditions that could impede efficient work performance.
Application of psychology has been expanded to include learning, perception,
personality, emotions, training, leadership effectiveness, needs and
motivational forces, job satisfaction, decision-making processes, performance
appraisals, attitude measurement, employee-selection techniques, work
design, and job stress.
b) Sociology: It is the study of people in relation to their fellow human beings.
It contributes to the field of group-dynamics, individuals behaviour,
communication, rules and norms, conflict management, decision-making.
Sociology contributes to Organisational Behaviour through study of group
behavior and contributes to organization structure, communications, power,
and conflict.
c) Anthropology: It is the study of deep rooted cultures of societies. It helps us
understand differences in fundamental values, attitudes and behaviour
between people in different countries and within different organisations. This
study is more relevant to organizational behaviour today due to globalization,
mergers and acquisitions of various industries. Managers have to deal with
individuals and groups belonging to different ethnic cultures; and they need
to control peoples behaviour in the desired direction by appropriately
manipulating various cultural factors. Today, workforce is very diverse as
