Operation Instructions

1. Features
Cast-steel integrative structure.
Stainless steel tubular latch, easy to install.
Three way to unlock: Fingerprint , PIN/code or mechanical key.
Capacity: Maximum ~130 fingerprints.
Keypad combines 4 digits: 0, 1, 2 , 3.
Adopts optical CMOS fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint cant be duplicated.
Fingerprint and code can be programmed directly on the lock. No need any computer.
Mechanical key used when emergency.
Powered by 4pcs AA alkaline batteries.

2. Definition
Normally, the fingerprint sensor sleeps all the time except it is waken up by inputting correct code.
Either fingerprint enrollment or authentication for unlocking has to wake up the sensor first. And
the fingerprint enrollment code differs from Wake-up code and unlocking code.
Normal open state: The lock is in open status. It doesnt lock the door all the time. One can rotate the
handle and unlock the door at any time.
Normal close state: The lock is in close status. Use either mechanical key or code or fingerprint to
unlock the lock for any entrance.
Unlocking code: A code with a combination of 11 digits can unlock the door. Its default code is
12312312312 among which the initial digit must be 1 and ends at 2.
Fingerprint enrollment code: A code with a combination of 11 digits for fingerprint enrollment. Its
order reverses from unlocking code. For example, if the unlocking code is 12312312312, then the
enrollment code should be 21321321321, which is the default enrollment code.
Wake-up code: while unlocking the door with fingerprint, one should input valid code to wake up
the sensor so that it can authenticate the enrolled fingerprints. The default code is 0123 among
which the initial digit must be 0.

3. Setting operations
3.1 How to change Unlocking code?
3.11 Press digit 3 and hold it for 5 seconds. After a beep is heard, input the previous unlocking code
continuously (the default code is 12312312312), a long beep is heard.
3.12 Immediately input the new unlocking code twice continuously. Attention: For the new unlocking
code, the initial digit must be 1 and ends at 2 as well.
a. If the new code is twice input correctly, a long beep is to be heard and yellow indicator flashes,
which confirm the success of the operation.
b. The twice input code should be the same. Otherwise the red indicator flashes and a short beep is
heard indicating the failure of the operation.
Note:
1. The initial digit of unlocking code must be 1 and the last one is 2
2. The fingerprint enrollment code will be changed automatically when the unlocking code is
changed. The order or fingerprint enrollment code reverses from that of unlocking code.
For example, if the unlocking code is changed from 12312312312 to 12222222222,the
fingerprint enrollment code should be 22222222221.
3. Unlocking Code can open the door and the reverse of its order is enrollment code which
can enroll fingerprints. Keep it secret or change it immediately after finishing the
enrollments.

3.2 How to change Wake-up code?

3.21 Press digit 3 and hold it for 5 seconds. After a beep is heard, input the previous Wake-up code
continuously (the default code is 0123), a long beep is heard.
3.22 Immediately input twice the new Wake-up code continuously.
a. If the new code is twice input correctly, a long beep is to be heard and yellow indicator flashes
indicating the success of the operation.
b. The twice input code should be the same. Otherwise the red indicator flashes and a short beep is
heard indicating the failure of the operation.
Note:
1. The initial digit of Wake-up code must be 0.
2. Unlocking with valid fingerprints requires inputting Wake-up code first.

3.3 How to enroll fingerprint as a Key?

Input correct Fingerprint Enrollment Code (Refer to Step 3.1) before the enrollment. (Lets take the
default enrollment code 21321321321 for example)
3.31 Press digit 2 and hold it for 5 seconds, a beep is heard,
3.32 continuously input 1321321321, red indicator flashes, put immediately a finger on the sensor, 1
seconds later, a beep will be heard, hold the finger on the sensor for another 3 seconds, and

move away the finger when 2 beeps are heard. The yellow indicator flashes, which indicates the
success of the enrollment.
3.33 Repeat above two steps for more enrollments.
Note:
1. Each enrollment requires inputting one valid Fingerprint Enrollment Code.
2. During any stage and step of enrollment, if the red indicator flashes after moving
away the finger, it will lead to the failure of the scan. An immediate scan operation
should be taken for that step. Or repeat the steps from 3.31 to 3.32.
3. Capacity: maximum 30 fingerprint templates can be stored.
4. To enroll the same finger twice (two templates for one fingerprint) recommended.
3.4 How to unlock the door with enrolled fingerprints?
Input correct Wake Up Code before the Authentication (Lets take the default Wake Up code 0123 for
example)
3.41 Input 0123 and a short beep is heard.
3.42 Put an enrolled finger on the sensor immediately after the yellow and red indicator flashes.
3.43 Hold the finger on the sensor for 3 seconds. The yellow indicator flashes and the motor drives.
Move away the finger and rotate the handle to unlock the door.
Note:
1. Input valid Wake-up Code before authentication.
2. During any steps of authentication, if the red indicator flashes after moving away the finger,
a second or third authentication should be immediately taken. It accepts only three times of
authentication after it is waken up. Any failure of unlocking with fingerprint after three trials
should have to repeat the steps from 3.41 to 3.43

3.5 How to open the door with mechanical key?

Open the door: first, please take out the lid of the cylinder with the special tool provided. Insert the
mechanical key into the cylindrical and turn it 90 degrees anticlockwise. And then turn the handle
clockwise; the door is opened.
3.6 How to set the lock into normal open state
Within 5 seconds after unlocking the door with either fingerprint or unlocking code, press the keypad
0 and hold it for 5 seconds, release the press after a long beep is heard. The lock will be set into
normal open state.
3.7 How to cancel normal open state
There are two ways:
A. Input the valid Wake-up Code and the lock will come back to normal close state.
B. Input the valid unlocking code and the lock will come back to normal close state.
3.8 How to initialize the lock
3.81 Remove the battery cover with screwdriver.

3.82 Take out one of the batteries, then replace the battery again after 3 seconds. Press and hold the
Digit 0 1,2,3 together while replacing the battery. Release the Digit keys after the red and yellow
indicator flashes and a long beep and a short beep are heard.
Note:
1. It will delete and erase all the fingerprints enrolled in the lock. Please make sure you want
to do that.
2. Any continuous incorrect operations 8 times on the keypad will make the lock pause for 10
seconds.

3.9 How to delete/ erase enrolled fingerprints

3.91 Press and hold digit 3 till a beep is heard.
3.92 Input enrollment code continuously (the default enrollment code is 21321321321, if you have
changed it, then input the correct one), a beep will be heard, a second beep will follow in 5 second, the
yellow indicator lights, which shows the success of the operation. All the fingerprints enrolled will be
deleted.

5. Low voltage indication.

If the indicator turns red and the lock still can be opened, it shows the voltage of the battery is low.
Although you could also open the door decades times, the battery should be replaced as soon as
possible.
