Q.1. What Does It Means...E-Banking...??
E-Banking is electronic banking, that requires a User name and a password, provided
by the bank authorities..Online banking or Internet banking allows customers to conduct
financial transactions on a Investment purchase or sale o Loan applications and transactions,
such as repayments Non-transactional e.g., online statements, check links, co browsing, chat o
Bank statements Financial Institution

Bank to bank....e banking means electronic banking. we can purchase anything using
internet ....Electronic banking Electronic handling of all types of banking business, primarily
over the Internet....In simple word, E Banking is nothing but a means by which u can carry
out u money or bank transaction though the internet in a safe way....E-Banking is a short for
Electronic Banking where all the transaction

Q.2. What Is The Difference Between E-Banking And E-Marketing?


A-

It is different from one another. As the name suggests, internet banking allows or
provides customers the facility to conduct their banking online. Using E- banking , banking
transactions such as payments, transfers well, also referred to as online marketing, Internet
advertising. E-Marketing, is the marketing of products or services over the Internet.

Q.3. How I can have Service of E-Banking? If I have my Current Bank Account in
any of the Bank?
A-

You just need to give a written request in your bank to avail e banking facility.

Q.4. What Are Requirements for E-Payment of Tax?


A-

E-Payment of tax is very easy now and for this you have to do following things:-

1. Having a computer with internet connection.


2. Having a bank account with net banking facility in one of the banks.

Q.5. What Is Security In Banking Transaction?


With ATM debit card/ credit card carefully, it is safety for you. You should not tell
your number to anybody either phone or E-mail. In case of doubt, you may go to the Bank
concerned in person and clarify dependent on small firms i.e. mobile banking service
providers with high employee turnover. It is therefore imperative that sensitive customer data,
and security and integrity of transactions are protected

START UP QUESTIONS:
Q. How do I arrange access to e-banking?
A.
You need to contact your account manager who will send you some forms to complete and
return or alternatively complete the online forms on our website which will then be forwarded to you
for signature.

Q. How long will it take to set up a connection?


A.
Once you have completed and returned the necessary forms you will be informed of your user
identity and password and provided with a start-up disk, which will permit immediate access.

SERVICE QUESTIONS:
Q. Will the Banks other services still be available if I become a user of e-banking?
A.
All Bank services will also continue to be available through the usual means of
communication, including those accessible through e-banking. At present not all Bank's full range
of services are available through e-banking, but additional services to those currently offered may
become available in the future.

Q. What will e-banking cost me?


A.
At present no set charge for e-banking and there is no intention to raise charges additional to
those for existing business.

Q. Will I be able to use the system at any time?


A.
E-banking is be available 24 hours/7days a week. If the system is going to be off-line for
maintenance or other reasons for a significant period of time you will be notified in advance.

Q. What will I do if e-banking is not available due to systems or communications


problems?
A.
In the unlikely event that there is a system problem, or that you are unable to connect to the
internet, the normal means of contacting your account manager i.e. by fax, telephone, etc. will remain
available.

SECURITY QUESTIONS:

Q. Is security effected purely by user ID and password, or are there limitations on the
PCs that can be used?
A.
There are no limitations on the PCs a user can use provided the PCs have the required
specification and run the required version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Security is built into
e-banking through user Ids, passwords and digital certificates. It is important for customers to
enforce procedures to protect that information.

Q. What will I do if I, or one of my staff, forget their password for e-banking?


A.
In the event that a password is forgotten the individual must contact Bank for it to be
changed. The individual will then be telephoned and asked questions on personal information
previously supplied to Bank in order to verify their identity. They will then be notified of the
password, which must be changed immediately they next sign into e-banking.

Q. Can other people see the information I enter in a payment instruction?


A.

No, only the receiver who is receiving the payment can see the information.

Q. Can individual users be given view only permission?


A.

Yes, this is one of the flexible options available to clients.
