Reference the Acclaim
Skeleton
Use NURBS Primitives
to sketch out the main
forms
Spheres and Cylinders
for one side of the body

Name Objects
In the Channel Box,
Hypergraph or
Attribute Editor
rename the objects
(head, arm, hand,
ribcage, pelvis, leg and
foot)

Switch to Component
Mode

Adjust the position of
each object to align
with the skeleton

Select the duplicates
Modify > Prefix
Hierarchy Names
Enter Prefix (right)

Menu Set
Bind the geometry to
the skeleton
Select the root node of
the skeleton
Shift-select all of the
figure geometry
Skin > Bind Skin >

Importing Motion

Open the Dominatrix Plug-in


In Dominatrix, select Acclaim Motion
Dominatrix will ask for the ASF file
Then, select AMC file

Select the Ribcage
geometry
Skin > Edit Smooth
Skin > Paint Skin
