INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Inserting and Replacing the Batteries

ThePanicButtonRemote(2GIGPANIC1345)isacompact,battery
powered,wirelesspanicbuttonthattransmitsanEmergencysignal
fromanylocationwithinradiofrequency(RF)rangeofthecontrol
panel.Thesignalcanbetransmittedtothecontrolpanel,whetherthe
securitysystemisarmedordisarmed.
Userscanmountthepanicbuttoninaconvenientlocationinthewall
oruseoneofthesewearableoptions:lanyard,wristband,beltclip,
andcarvisorclip.Itiscompletelywaterresistantandalsooffersafive
(5)secondbuttonlockout.

WARNING: Tobeusefulinduresssituations,itisimperativethat

youmaintainthebatteryinthepanicbutton.Toensure
properfunctioning,itisrecommendedthatendusersand/or
qualifiedinstallationpersonnelcheckthebatteryforthepanic
buttonregularly,atleastoneormoretimesperyear.Under
typicalconditions,thebatterylifeisapproximatelytwo(2)
years.Whenthebatteryislow,thecontrolpanelsHome
screenwilldisplayatroublenotification.Tohelptoensure
thatthepanicbuttonisavailableduringaduressevent,
alwaysreplacethebatterywhenthelowbatterynotification
firstappears.

Activating the Panic Button Remote

Toactivatethepanicbutton:
1 Pressandholdthepanicbuttonforapproximatelytwo(2)seconds.
WhentheLEDilluminatesRED,asignalistransmittedtothe
controlpanel.
2 WhenthecontrolpanelalarmsoundsandtheSysteminAlarm
messagedisplays,enteryourcodetosilencethealarm.Anyvalid
usercodewillsilencethealarm.
Analarmreportistransmittedtothemonitoringservice.To
acknowledgethatthealarmreportwassent,tapOK.
3 Ifyouwanttoclearthealarmhistoryonthecontrolpanel,tap
ClearAlarmHistory.Thisplacesacheckmarkinthecorresponding
box.ThentapOK.
