In the questions below, please motivate your participation in the YCF 2015 programme. Please be as
concrete and detailed as possible in your answers.
Make sure you answer all the questions in the application. All information should be submitted in
English.
Questions
1.) Please describe the platform (e.g. engagements, networks, experiences, skills, drives, goals)
from which you have the ambition to contribute to the development of your local/regional
society. [1200 characters maximum]
2) What are some of the main challenges (or possibilities) that is important to you and your
country today? How can these challenges be addressed? [1200 characters maximum]
3. Describe and give concrete examples on how you work to promote social change, human
rights and democratic development in your society. Is there any achievement that you are
particularly proud of? [1200 characters maximum]
4. Describe how you in your work collaborate with others and how you build and utilise your
networks. [900 characters maximum]
5. Describe your personal and/or professional goals for the coming three years. [900 characters
maximum]
6. Personal statement: Why do you want to attend the YCF programme? How do you think this
programme can benefit you and what can you contribute with to the programme? [900
characters maximum]
7. Where and how did you get information about the YCF programme? [500 characters
maximum]
Reference persons:
Please provide the name, e-mail and telephone number of two reference persons who are familiar with
your work and/or engagement in the areas of democracy and human rights. We will also need a letter
of recommendation from one (1) of these persons (maximum of two (2) pages). We may contact the
reference persons of the applicants who are selected for an interview. We can only accept references
who speak English.
Web sources (not compulsory):
If available, please feel free to share a maximum of five web sources (websites, blogs, Twitter account
etc.) that can give us more information about relevant work that you are involved in. The web sources
can be in any language.
