Formal education corresponds to a systematic, organized education model,
structured and administered according to a given set of laws and norms, presenting a
rather rigid curriculum as regards objectives, content and methodology. It refers to the
hierarchically structured and chronologically graded learning organized and provided by
the formal school system. There are 3 level of Formal Education and these are
Elementary Education - first stage of compulsory education, Secondary Education - state
of formal education concerned primarily with continuing education usually corresponding
to four years of high school, and Tertiary Education - post secondary schooling is higher
education leading to a degree in a specific profession or discipline.
OPINION ABOUT THE ARTICLE:
With this article, Formal education contributes greatly to a childs development
where in fact, these 3 Levels of Formal Education will guide them with regards of their
learnings because this is how the child learns the basic education to tertiary education.
In school, a person may learn basic, academic, or trade skills. In line with this, Education
is very important to both your personal and professional life, in a number of significant
ways and thats why we have called Formal Education.
