Q1. Doctor, Out of 100 patients that you see how many suffer from
tuberculosis?
19% of MD Medicine doctors and 22% of General Practitioners state that they get
10 cases of Tuberculosis out of 100 patients they receive.
16% of MD Medicine doctors state that they get 15 cases of Tuberculosis out of 100
patients they receive.
14% of Paediatricians state that they get 3 cases of Tuberculosis out of 100 patients

Research Objective
The objective for the survey is to listen to the doctors (Chest Physicians, MD Physicians,
Paediatricians and General Practitioners) and to understand their Knowledge and Perception
of Tuberculosis.
Research Methodology
A structured questionnaire for the study subjects (doctors) was designed within the scope of
given objectives. Mumbai was divided into 6 zones. Within each zones, doctors were
interviewed from different areas.

Research Objective
The objective for the survey is to listen to the doctors (Chest Physicians, MD Physicians,
Paediatricians and General Practitioners) and to understand their Knowledge and Perception
of Tuberculosis.
Research Methodology
A structured questionnaire for the study subjects (doctors) was designed within the scope of
given objectives. Mumbai was divided into 6 zones. Within each zones, doctors were
interviewed in hospitals situated in different areas.
