Underslung
The Underslung Launching Gauntry LG is a high efficiency equipment
specially designed to install precast concete segments in the box section
deck and typically spans in the order of 30 to 35m.
When the span activities are repetitive the achieved performance using
these Launching Gantries allow in a week to install all the segments
corresponding to 2 spans and in some cases even 2,5 spans.

Each span built using the precast segments has a lenght corresponding
to the distance in between the center to center of columns.

A simple solution!
The Underslung Launching Gantry is a simple solution to support the
precast concrete segments, being made by two almost symmetrical
halves.
Each half includes a main girder and two noses, supported at three
supporting brackets pairs connected to the columns. On the top of the
two main girders travels a gantry crane that perform the segments
assembling. On the main girder inner web outer surface there are
several support beams where the precast segments are supported
awaiting to be adjusted and prestressed.
