PENNIES FOR PATIENTS

As of today we are halfway to our goal, and we have two more days in our
Pennies for Patients drive. Tomorrow is pajama pants day. If you would like to
wear pajama pants tomorrow please come down across the office in the
morning (starting at 7:20) to pay $1. All proceeds will count towards your 6th
hour totals. Also, today we draw the names for the Student/Staff Basketball
game. There is only 1 student signed up for 7th grade, and a few for 8th grade.
If we don't have enough players we won't be able to have the student staff
basketball game Thursday afternoon. Hopefully we have more people signing
up today, since it is the last day.
REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS
There are to be no students in the gym before school!
YEARBOOKS
Yearbooks are STILL on sale, now at $35 and WITHOUT a nameplate. You can
purchase them online or bring your order to the office until this Thursday, April
2nd. Don't miss out!
Attention, students who are new to Haslett Schools this school year: You should
have received an invitation to be part of a group photo TODAY in the library
during the beginning of each grade's lunch. Please arrive promptly as the
picture will be taken quickly so everyone can go eat.
Reminder to Yearbook staff: there is a meeting today at 2:30 in the lab across
from Mr. Kimbles room.
EXPLORATORY PREFERENCE FORMS
Just a reminder to all 6 th and 7th grade students to please turn in their
exploratory preference forms for next year to the office.
LOST AND FOUND
All items in the hallway lost and found not claimed by Thursday will be donated.
TRACK
Attention all track participants: If you have a t-shirt order, please bring it to the
office at this time. There is no track practice today.
INTRAMURAL VOLLEYBALL
Sixth grade intramural volleyball for girls and boys will begin on Tuesday, April
14 from 2:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. in the north gym. There is no charge for
intramurals and a physical is not required to participate. Participants should
wear tennis shoes, shorts and t-shirt. Kneepads are not necessary. Intramural

volleyball will run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from April 14 April
30. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Pringle.

INSTRUCTIONAL VOLLEYBALL
The Haslett volleyball Instructional league will be starting on April 14th and run
until May 27th on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 3:45 - 5:00. This league is
different than after school intramurals. It is open to both boys and girls in 6th
grade. If you are interested see Mrs. McCann for flyers and details.
SPRING HOCKEY
Its time to sign up for Eastside Spring Hockey. All 8th graders are eligible. Pick up
a flyer in the office.
POPCORN
Popcorn will be on sale tomorrow during the lunch hours.
CEDAR POINT
8th graders - if you have Cedar point permission slips and money, please bring
them to the office at this time.
