Technical lead for all capital projects for Oxbow and for Oxbows customers projects. Included all
design, estimating, scope, specification, bid documents, contract development, contractor negotiation,
construction, project and facility management resulting in repeat customer relations and extending
corporate contracts due to successes. Directed and managed average of 17 projects / year.
Strategic execution of all technical projects from 1998 until 2015 when company grew in size from $40M
to $3B. Since 2012 managed staff of corporate engineers, support staff and plant engineers.
In 2015 developed and implemented, first of its kind, solution to save $1M annually in gas consumption
at Argentinean plant.
First responder to facility emergencies to take charge of recovery and rebuild efforts. Coordinated and
rallied the team to replace a collapsed $4M shipload by redesigning and replacing at overseas operating
plant, under tight time and cost constraints. Resulted in eliminating $600,000/yr in demurrage and
generated a profit in despatch.
In 2009-2010 designed, developed and managed installation of 16 construction projects totaling $30M
mostly to help restart Oxbows Port Arthur facility after being ravished by Hurricane Ike. Best when
working under pressure and take pride in being someone to be counted on.
