2. IRCA Registered QMS Lead Auditor Training according to ISO

9001:2008
2.1. This 5-day course is designed to:
Provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third
party audits of management systems against ISO 9001:2008, in accordance with ISO 19011

2.2. On completion of this course delegates will be able to:

Describe the purpose of a quality management system and explain the 8 principles of
quality management.

Explain the purpose and content of ISO 9001:2008. Explain the role of an auditor to
plan, conduct, report and follow up a quality management system audit in accordance
with ISO 19011.

Plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and by
interpreting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008

2.3. Training Objective

2.3.1. To enable those attending to lead an audit team whose objective will be to audit the
quality management system of an organization against the requirements of ISO
9001:2008

2.3.2. The course will also equip delegates with a sound knowledge of the requirements of
ISO 9001:2008 and the quality management principles.

2.3.3. The course is designed not only to help people perform capable and value-adding
QMS audits, but also to develop delegates wider understanding of quality
management systems design and implementation.

2.3.4. In particular it will help delegates to get grip on the issues of ever-increasing
importance, such as nonconformance, correction corrective and preventive action and
the management of processes.

2.3.5. It will help delegates understand how these critical issues can be embedded into the
quality management system of an organization

2.4. IRCA Registration

Delegates who successfully complete this IRCA certified course (within the
three years from completion of LA Training to apply to become a certified
auditor) will satisfy the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA
QMS Auditor
2.5. Training Duration : 5 Days
2.5.1. The IRCA registered Lead Auditor course is 40 hours long.
2.5.2. Duration will be minimum 9 hours/day with 1 hour lunch break.
2.5.3. Training will start at 08:00 AM and finish at 05:00 PM
2.6. Training Location: Al-Khobar
2.7. Training Venue: INAT Facility
