TRAINING PROGRAM
The company has put together three basic training arms: The full-time program that
involves seven hours of training six days a week in various dance and music genres
coupled with design (costume, lights and sound) and theatre lessons, the part time
program that involves coaching in music and dance and the Kenya Performing Arts
Talent Development Academy (KEPATDA) that focusses on developing the artistic
talents of children of primary school going age in rural Kenya.

PHILANTHROPY
Knowledge and the sharpening of skills and talents are key factors in the development
and sustenance of any society. A large percentage of individuals living in the informal
settlements however suffer the lack of proper education and platforms that encourage
artistic, social and economic awareness and development. This grave lack has largely
contributed to an attitude of indifference towards learning, the muzzling of their
artistic voice, degradation of their social awareness and moral values hence a ripple
effect of an economic downward spiral that affects the current and future
generations.
KPAG together with other organizations like Shofco and Future Kids Project comes
in to cater for this crucial need by offering workshops for the youth and children on
performing arts and arts management with the aim of regenerating the communitys
artistic and socio-economic awareness and development.
We strongly believe in giving back to the community!

ADMIRATIONS
"I couldn't be more pleased with the performance today. It was an impossible stage to dance on but you
pulled it off" Moshi Perera - General Manager, Sankara Hotel.
What is really striking is the way you see the youth empowered. When they talk about what they do, they
say it from deep inside
Gregg - Programme Officer, Hivos.
I recommended her because of the fact that she is a member of Kenya Performing Arts Group, because of
the high level of discipline the group members manifest
Juma Anderson - Renowned Kenyan Artist.
This is it, the MJ style, I believe you guys are the best around. What drives me crazy is the fact that I see
moves that I am familiar with and others that I have never seen. Wow! I love it.
Brian - DaFactory Club.
I love this; you guys should expand and bring a similar program to Mombasa little theatre. There are so
many youth there who would love to have such.
Zeruya - Mombasa Based Artists.
