Intended installation involves the following steps:
Step1. Connect the mounting kit to the ODU and mount the ODU
assembly into the proper position (Figure 3).
Step2. Repeat the connection steps.1 ~ 4 of Back-to-Back Configuration
and fasten the equipments and cables onto the proper position.

Step3. Verify the direction of the antennas by RSSI or ANT alignment.

Step4. Use telnet tools or SNMP monitor software to setup the detail
parameters.

Before installing our E1 equipments on the intended site, please perform

the Back-to-Back Configuration to ensure the equipments are working
properly, then proceed to install equipments on the intended site. This
procedure helps to lower the possibilities of potential problems.
Initial Back-to-Back Configuration steps:
Step1. Using the RF cable, connect the antenna and the N-type connector
of ODU(Marked). Note that both ends of the RF cable are
N-type connectors.(Figure. 1)
Step2. Connect ODU & IDU with coaxial cable properly. Both ends of the
coaxial cable are of N-type connector. The N-type connector of
IDU is located in the rear side of the IDU and marked To ODU.
The N-type connector of ODU which connects to IDU is marked
(Figure 2).
Step3. Connect IDU power adapter to the IDU and AC-outlet (100~240V,
50~60Hz).
Note: When performing the Back-to-Back Configuration, its not

necessary to fasten all the equipments as it is just for temporary

testing.
Step4. Install another station following the same steps. Upon the
completion of setups, turn on the power of these 2 stations
simultaneously.
Step5. You may need to verify the direction of the antennas to make them
face each other in a direct line.
Step6. Use the browser tools to setup parameters of Link ID, and RF
channel for initialization setup in the window.

Note: The default settings of the factory do not require further changes to
make the equipments working properly. But we suggest you to
make confirmation again.
Step7. If the green LEDs on both the IDU panels are flashing, its an
indication that the system is working properly, you may then
proceed with the intended installation.

Exterior components and accessories which were prevent from warrant regulation
of K-Best. Any defects hail from that Exterior Characters should not be permitted.
