LANEWAY 2.0: THE ART OF LIVING

A building design for a work-live space for studio artists that
allows one to not only flourish artistically but also maintain
their well-being through a series of easily accessible social
spaces. The project emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the creative process. In addition to five individual
units, the building also includes a collaborative studio space,
three shared terraces, and a public courtyard and gallery.
The model was constructed by hand at a 18:1-0 scale
primarily out of balsa wood, basswood, paper and plywood
(base).
The plans and sections were drawned on AutoCAD while the
renderings were done with a combination of hand drafting
and Photoshop.
