Girlfriends United Dinner Coming Jan. 26 The Harrison Women's
Council is planning another evening of worship and girlfriend-ship, and invit-
ing you to come join in the fun. Our next Girlfriends United dinner will be on
Tuesday, Jan. 26th. Be sure to mark this date on your calendars. You will
again have the opportunity to decorate a table in your favorite theme. Details
and sign-up information will be announced soon. We look forward to seeing
you there !
GOING TO THE MAN CAVE!! On January 29-
29-31, the men of Harrison will
be retreating for a weekend away and some well deserved time of relaxation
and fun. We will be going to Camp Harrison, about 90 minutes from Charlotte.
It will be a time to get to meet other guys at Harrison, listen to great music,
enjoy good conversation and have a great time recharging your battery.
Camp Harrison has available zip lines, hiking trails, fishing pond among other
things. Cost is $80. Scholarships are available. If you have any questions,

Friendship Circle is sponsoring a Harrison cookbook and would like to in-
clude recipes of appetizers, main dishes, salads, breads, or desserts. If
you’d like to have your favorite dish included, please send your recipes by
February 1st to Maureen Cosper, 9325 Seamill Road, Charlotte, NC 28278,
or to Melissa Ralston at gralston@carolina.rr.com. The cook books will be
sold at church beginning in April. For more information, call Maureen at 704-
504-3884. In case of duplicates, all names of submitters will be published
with their recipes.
Starting Wednesday, Feb. 3 ~ Moving On After Moving In . . .
for women ~ a wonderful way to make new friends and work through the
transition of moving. Over the weeks, friendships are formed, new discoveries
are shared and we grow together as a group. The group will go through the
book entitled “When the Boxes are Unpacked” by Susan Miller and we will
laugh together, learn from one another, and at the end of it all, we will be
ready to move on! The class will be on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – Noon in
Room 115, Bldg. 100, starting Wednesday, February 3. For more information

Harrison Preschool Fall Registration ~ February 8 & 9 Harrison Preschool will be giving church mem-
bers an opportunity to register their children for the upcoming 2010-11 school year. Public registration will follow
soon after so please don’t hesitate. Classes will fill-up fast! Look for our pamphlet in any of the
Information Centers throughout the church campus for more information on our programs and rates. The doors
will open Feb. 8 & 9 at 9:30 a.m., so don’t be late!

COFFEE ANYONE??? Join us for coffee and treats at The Harrison Coffee House open at 9 a.m. this Sunday
in Room 100 of the Plummer Education Center, Bldg. 100. Come By and Fellowship!
