Sifu John V.

Ladalski

BIO
is a practitioner of Wing Chun kung fu, and resides in Hong Kong teaching martial arts, where he
is the chief instructor of the Hong Kong Jeet Kune Do Self Defense Association. John has
appeared in numerous Hong Kong action and martial arts movies, notably The Chinese
Stuntman (with Bruce Li and longtime associate Dan Inosanto Inheritor of Kung Fu with Ti Lung,
and Armor of God, playing the second head monk in Jackie Chan's 1987 action / adventure
classic.
Sifu Ladalski is part of a legacy of martial arts education he study JKD under Dan as well as ,
Bruce Lee's Style film action as the student of Sifu Dan Inosanto, himself the student of Jeet
Kune Do founder Bruce Lee.
He once had a JKD school / dojo in Tokyo, though he is currently a Jeet Kune Do instructor with
Sifu Inosanto.
John has passed his knowledge of martial arts to other performers as well. He is a professional
instructor in training actors and actresses for action films, which involves coaching performers on
how to execute movements and stunts in a few days or weeks. He has trained actors to work in
Hong Kong, Hollywood, Japan and India.
In 1991 he was hired by a FINAS , Malaysian film development board to train 30 performers for
films and television in a three month course. He has also worked for Malaysia's Sunny Films as a
stunt / action director and trainer.
John Ladalski was Sophia Crawford's first trainer when she came to Hong Kong as an actress,
coaching her from the basic to intermediate level. And before Robin Shou left Hong Kong for the
United States, John was hired as Robin's personal trainer.
In over 20 years in films, John has worked with many of the classic actors of Hong Kong and
Hollywood. In 1979 he appeared in his first film, the American production Seven. This was
followed by a featured role in The Chinese Stuntman, and many other Hong Kong productions in
the customary 'foreigner' roles. He also acted in Shaw Brothers films, playing a police chief in The
Informer starring Danny Lee and a foreign fighter in one of Alexander Fu Sheng's last films, My
Rebellious Son. He acted in MADE IN C.H.I.N.A. ,a John Liu Production with Danny Lee, and
Korean Tae Won Do Champ Kasaba.
John has also had the opportunity to work with famed movie producer Roger Corman,Hollywood
stunt coordinator Bobby Bass, and film icons Lee Van Clief, Ernest Borgnine, Klaus Kinski and
with Mel Gibson in Air America as one of the pilots.
Presently Sifu John teaches and conducts Seminars on Jeet Kune Do / Jun Fan concepts
including Wing Chun and Filipino martial arts Arnis / Escrima / Kali, which have been
reasonly in Hamburg , Germany also has bee held in the United States, Japan, Sweden, Hong
Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia.
He continues holding action training workshops in fighting and stunt work for film and television,
with more planned in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and America.

He will plan to hold New International Action Film Fight Training Workshops in
action fighting and stunt work for film and television in Asia for all countries to
invite interested Martial Artist to Asia to participate in these dynamic workshop
to fully train in fighting action skills for TV and Motion Pictures. Planned
Workshops to be held in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and America.
