Imperative form

Imperative form expressa uma ordem, um comando um pedido, uma solicitao. Em

ingls o sujeito sempre you singular (em portugus voc) ou plural (vocs). Nos
exemplos que vou dar abaixo, voc ver que you compreendido, porm no
expresso (ou seja, no aparece escrito, porm sabemos que ele, o pronome you).

Exemplo:
1-Stand up boy, observe que disse: levante-se rapaz, quando falo isso me refiro a
voc, seria como se eu disse: you stand up boy (= voc rapaz levante-se) entendeu? O
pronome vai ser entendido, porm no ser expresso, isto escrito.

IMPERATIVO AFIRMATIVO

Stand up boy. (levante-se)

Vamos treinar: voc vai suprimir, tirar os pronomes para formar o imperativo
afirmativo. Veja um exemplo que fiz para voc:

2- you wait outside. (agora tire o pronome you) fica: wait outside, logo: wait outside
imperative form.
Wait outside (espere l fora)

3- you give this book to teacher Walmir. (agora tire o pronome you) fica: give this book
to teacher Walmir, logo: give this book to teacher Walmir imperative form.
Give this book to teacher Walmir (d o livro a professor Walmir)

Obs: se eu quero tornar minha ordem mais polida, mais educada, mais cortez eu uso a
expresso: please (= por favor)

Voc notou que a expresso please alm de tornar mais polida, educada a solicitao;
pode vir no incio ou no fim da sentena (orao).

IMPERATIVO NEGATIVO

Para formar o imperativo negativo, basta introduzir a partcula dont, que em

portugus quer dizer no e a teremos.

Voc notou que a expresso DONT transformou a sentena em negartiva(orao).

IMPERATIVO NEGATIVO COM PLEASE.

Para formar o imperativo negativo, basta introduzir a partcula dont, que em
