Alignment and Transition Committee (ATC) LiveMeeting

For our upcoming ATC LiveMeeting on Tuesday 2 Feb at 7pm, we will discuss:

1) Plans for providing "Update Report" to District 27 Executive Committee (DEC) on Feb 4 and TI by Feb 5.
Please review the draft Update Report prior to the Feb 2 ATC LiveMeeting. From our discussions and the
rating/ranking based on applying criteria in the Decision Matrix, we have two viable options for Re-formation:
Proposal A and Proposal G.

2) Action Items (regarding re-alignment of clubs and border changes)--Considerations for Alignment during
the Transition Year prior to Re-Formation--
-- DivC/D/E and changes between the borders of DivC/D and DivD/E -- awaiting clean-up of the written
description (one-page per Division) that is needed in conjunction with the spreadsheet that was submitted.
-- DivA considerations for making changes between DivA and DivJ -- awaiting a specific recommendation
for the new boundary to be proposed (such as Seminary Rd) with assurance that such a proposal would be
pre-coordinated between DivA and DivJ. If DivJ does not concur, the Div A re-alignment should be
reconsidered.
-- Potential re-alignment of clubs within those Divisions expecting no border changes, especially if there
are new clubs and if any club has changed its physical meeting location.
-- Potential boundary change between DivH and DivB that could cause a re-alignment of some clubs from
DivB to DivH (see Proposal G for re-formation);

3) Proposal G for Re-formation (potentially affecting split and alignment efforts between DivB and DivH);

4) Down-selected proposals offering viable options, and decision matrix for making better informed
recommendations;

5) Plans for Socializing Re-Alignment and Re-Formation planning efforts and soliciting members' preferences

6) Items to be addressed in the District Operating Structure during Transition;

7) other items proposed by ATC members.

to view/change D27 club locations to ensure their locations are correctly displayed.

As requested of D27 Steering Committee members, input for possible proposals for re-alignment and/or re-
formation is needed to be received by the ATC NLT noon 21 Jan to allow discussion and preparation for
presentation of recommendations to the District Executive Committee meeting on 4 Feb. After review and
possible changes, the DEC will be asked to approve the D27 Update Report (as potentially modified) being
sent to Toastmasters International on 5 Feb in order to support the information needs of the TI Board of
Directors at their meeting in mid-Feb 2010.

Teleconferences alternate between Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm via Internet and call-in using the same
