identical for one user. Select Workstation installation for client computers on your network
(i.e. Secretary Office). Important: only one full installation must exist on your network!
2. Installation Instructions
Make sure that the minimum hardware and software requirements are fulfilled.

3. Versions!
Professional and freeware versions are available.
Medical Database Seven Professional Edition is a powerful medical office solution. Its easy-to-use
graphical interface and a lot of features will make your work as easy as it can be! This edition requires
activation. During activation, you will provide your unique Serial key accompanying the Software purchase
receipt. However if you don't activate the software you can always use the freeware Lite edition
functionality.
4. Very Important!!!
The Medical Database "Seven" is a multi-user application that employs two files, CodeMD.mde and
DataMD.mdb. CodeMD.mde is the application database (front-end) and DataMD.mdb is the data
database (back-end). You are advised to study the help file and video tutorials thoroughly before making
any attempt to insert data.
If you install the application in its default folder the CodeMD.mde is linked automatically with
DataMD.mdb. If you change folder for application or DataMD.mdb the next time the database is
opened, the new path for DataMD.mdb must be supplied (See video tutorial in help file) before Microsoft
Access will open it.
5. Network Installation
1. Decide which computer in your network is going to act as the server (a UPS protected PC with high
performance be the server) and perform a Full Installation. See more details in Help File.
2. Perform a workstation installation in each workstation.
3. When you start the application for the first time on each workstation, you are required to relink
tables from DataMD.mdb for each workstation (See Video Tutorial in Help File).
