Learning shouLd not be hold in few hands, it must pass to

many minds and Lives This was the basic idea.

Why sharing the learning?
It usually happens that the learners who go to other units to get training their
learning stays only with them, and only those who have received that learning
are benefited. The factors that affect the unshared learning are many such as
time, openness to share and lack of interest from others to learn from our
learning.
The very thought got ignited by our Section Head Ms. Bella Vyas. To put this
idea into practice she created a platform for us to share our learning from our
PBL Training.
Plan of Action:
We all 8 PBLians shared our learning to our team mates. During our sharing,
there came a point where we found that making PLP- was a great idea because
it reveals your recent past, present and near future journey of your profession.
Thus with the mutual understanding to work on PLP, Each of us were assigned
3 team mates with us to help them in designing their PLP. Each one of us is
now a mentor to 3 mentees.
2 of my 3 mentees have made their PLP. In order to make the processes easier,
doable and achievable we focused on only 3 questions
Where am I now?
Where do I want to go?
How will I reach there?
My learning:
The first and the foremost learning was- I learned the WALO much
deeper as it was the part that I explained on behalf of PBLian team
My explanation was bit longer, and the format was difficult for all to
understand. So I should consider the audience as well- ie. Their capacity
to understand, their background knowledge etc.
Reflection

For PLP: Out of my 3 mentees, 1 worked spontaneously and 1 has still not
worked. The 1st mentee- Ms. Punita is my team member as well. So I have
been reading her session plans and I was aware that she needs to brush up in
the area of planning. So, did not take much time in helping her to make PLP.
But second mentee, Ms. Komal J, had a different goal, so when she mailed her
PLP, could not relate more. So I personally sat with her, discussed her ideas
and then she re-drafted her PLP.
Now as they are clear with their goals, next is their plan to how to reach there.
Their plan of action will not be possible at this point of time as it is end of the
year and both of them has mentioned the goal, which will need lot of
interventions and practices to work on their PLP.
Thus I just have to wait for the fresh academic year to start with. When they
will be working on their plan of action I will be guiding them more about
WALO.
For WALO:
The format that I explained was bit difficult for people to understand.
They were confused between PLP and WALO- Though I tried to explain
that PLP is the plan of ones growth and WALO is a part of ones PLP
which describes the plan of action in order to reach the defined goals in
PLP.
Somehow I could not make them understand- as we believed in
following the protocol of time.
