Malaysian Wastewater Treatment Specialist Ronser Bio-Tech

The latest Frost & Sulliv an report on the Malay sia Wastewater Treatment Market also singled out Ronser as one of the leading play ers of the reactor-based
Ex panded Granular Sludge Bed (EGSB) technology . EGSB remov es biodegradable organic and suspended solids using high v elocity water pumped upwards
through a sludge bed, a by -product of wastewater. Ronser implemented this technology successfully in its palm oil mill effluent (POME) zero discharge pilot
plant in Labu, Negeri Sembilan since y ear 201 1 .
Ronser is currently in partnership with Shanghai Jai Tong Univ ersity to dev elop a new sewerage technology for the treatment of sewerage using micro belt
filter, magnetic powder or MP flocculation, BioAX and Mass Bio sy stem (MBS), which allows for the reuse of treated water. Ronsers technology only requires
a 40-feet container to accommodate a 240 tonnes of water/day for modification of a plant.
During the awards ceremony , Ms Woo Min Fong, Chairman of Ronser, also announced that Professor Zhang Zhenjia had secured, in March 201 5, a tender
award for 20,000 tonnes sewerage treatment plant, using technologies ex clusiv e to Ronser, which ex pected to be completed in August 201 5.
