Technology ( MSIT )
MSIT (MS in IT or Master of Science in Information Technology) is a
two year post graduate program in Computer Science started in
2001.

Eligibility
B.Tech / B.E (All branches).

Admission into MSIT is based on entrance test named GAT
(Graduate Aptitude Test)

What is GAT & What is Walk-in ?

Admissions into MSIT is based on an entrance test called GAT (
Graduate Aptitude Test ) conducted from May 23rd, 2015 or Walk-in
Entrance Tests conducted from April 16th to May 22nd 2015
GAT : The GAT test is Computer based Entrance Test conducted for
the admission into MSIT.
Walk-in : Walk-in is also GAT only but candidate can take at his
convenient time from April, 16th to 22nd May, 2015.
GAT entrance test consists of 3 sections for 100 marks and the
duration of the test is 150 minutes.
Section I : Critical Reading ( 30 Marks )
Section II : Quantitative ability ( 40 Marks )
Section III : Writing ( 30 Marks )

Infrastructure
Dedicated 24 hour lab facilities with full time
high speed internet connectivity.
Every student is provided with dedicated laptop
and workstations.
Digital lectures from CMU and other reputed
universities.
1:10 mentor to student ratio.

Timings
Six day a week, and 48 weeks in a year with
only 4 weeks of vacation per academic year.
Students work on IT modules from 9:00AM to
6:00PM.
Soft skills continuous credits are scheduled
between 6:00PM and 8:00PM.
MSIT is a residential program in IIIT-H and
JNTUA.

Placements
MSIT produces employable students.
Placements for MSIT program are handled by
respective learning centers.
Near 100% placements from inception (2001).

MSIT's collaboration with industry enables its
students to meet dynamic challenges of the
current corporate world.
MSIT signed MOUs with companies like JP
Morgan Chase, Gramener, TeamF1 Networks,
ADP and Mutual Mobile for internships, projects
and employment.
