RESEARCH BACKGROUND

According to oxford dictionary, Sociology is the study of the

development, structure and functioning of human society.
Bearing this in my mind, the most essential group in our society
are children. Unsocializing children will prevent them to grow into
a useful and functioning citizen.
Quiet children are lacking in confidence to face worldly
challenges because they are too afraid to socialize. Majority of
these pupils are showing low performance too in their academic
field. Thus, there is connection between communication skills
with pupils performance in academic.
Current parents are not aware of the importance of
socializing. The advantage of an individual with strong socializing
skill is increases ones self confidence, increases ones ability to
communicate for daily life routine , increases ones ability to
communicate in order to solve problems. In a nutshell, these
individuals are better prepared to face worldly challenges and
are able be a successful person in the future.
In order to train for social environment children must be
properly socialized. Our world provides an unlimited potential for
learning and growth and exploration as well as unlimited
opportunity to meet people.

research, methods such

: In order to carry out this

as Research in library , interview ,
questionnaire, data analysis have to be
carried out .
Step 1 : Research in library for similar
title to gather important facts.
Step 2 : Select group of pupils to do
research
First group are children .The second
group teenager and the third group are
adolescent. (The reason to choose
teenager group are to compare their
current self with when they were young
and what social activity they are engage
with.
Step 3: Create module of research
interview questions, questionnaire,
camera for footage, tape recoder to
record interview session.

Primary Data

Description
The problem definition is the first
step towards launching a
research study. Next, a suitable
research topic is introduced.The
research problem specifies the
information required to progress
towards goal achievement which
is the find the specify cause and
create an instrument to rectify
the problem.
The objectives of the research
must be identified and
formulated with great care to
ensure required identifying and
solving the set problem will be
addressed.
Collecting data is the most
important part of this research
process. The information must
always be of a very high quality
and absolutely reliable. The
fieldwork process must therefore
be well executed and supervised.
Primary research data are

observed and recorded directly

from respondents. The
information collected is directly
related to the specific research
problem identified. All the
questions that I ask the
respondents must be totally
unbiased and formulated so that
all the different respondents
understand it.
Primary research data can
further be divided into
observations and surveys.
Fifth month

Secondary Data

Secondary data is compiled

outside the community for some
purpose other than the current
investigation. Examples of
secondary data is from another
country community . This data is
essential in order to compare
two different community before
coming to a conclusion.

Intrepreting and
Analysing Research
Findings
a. Statistical Findings

The first step in drawing

conclusions from the surveys
done is the tabulation of the
data. In most cases crosstabulation may be quite useful.
Statistical interpretation focuses
on what is typical, outstanding or
what deviates from norms or
averages. The analysis must be
straightforward for everybody to
understand.

b.Reporting Research
Findings

An important step is to prepare

report of the research findings. I
must take a clear objective look
at the findings to see how well
the gathered facts answer the

posed in the beginning. I must
recognise the needs and
expectations of the report which
relates to this research. This
does not mean that I must give
the user the answer he expected
but must be objective and
unbiased.

1.7 THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS RESEARCH

The reason of violence in children from peers (2) , Up to 18% of

school-age children are being bullied at any one time (Olweus, 1989)
and in many families and cultures corporal punishment is seen as not
only acceptable but necessary (Straus & Donelly, 1993).
The current context of socializing has changed whereby thru
Internet services such as Facebook and Twitter. This type of socializing
doesnt enhance a persons confidence in a real world scenario.
The purpose of this research is create awareness among
Malaysia parents that high grade alone doesnt guarantee an individual
success in real world environment. Children are required to have
healthy socializing skill in order to survive in the world. Thus, Malaysian
parents need to know what the consequent of unsocializing children
are and what would happen to them when they are an adult. In order
to be a successful person, every individual need to have a good
socializing
skill.
