Standard production meter $165.00 Fees are only charged once, regardless of the

Advanced meter $525.00 installation fee will appear on your next regularly
scheduled invoice.

Please note that some battery backup systems may require more than one meter to measure the total system output.

AUTHORIZATION
By completing and returning this application, you authorize Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to begin production metering
installation processes necessary to accurately and fairly measure the total output of your renewable energy system. PSE
will contact you to evaluate the system and provide the necessary Production Metering Guidelines for PSE-owned and
installed meters.
Costs associated with installing a PSE-approved meter bases are paid by the customer; it is recommended that
you speak with PSE’s Metering Department before making any system modifications to clearly understand the
metering requirements. You may reach the Metering Department by calling 800-562-1482.
All items must be included with this application in order to expedite payment. PSE will process your application within
sixty (60) days of receipt and will notify you in writing as to the results.
Please include a copy of your Washington State renewable energy system certification, if not already on file with PSE.
