MYOB ODBC Direct v10

The following changes have been made in this release of MYOB ODBC Direct.

New driver name


You do not need to uninstall existing MYOB ODBC Direct drivers before installing a new version of the driver.
You can install multiple versions and regional variants of the driver on the same system. As such, you can
develop and test products for several countries on the same computer.
To enable this functionality, a unique driver name is assigned to each new MYOB ODBC Direct release. The
driver name for the v10 Australian release of MYOB ODBC Direct is MYOAU1001.
Note that this version of the driver will only work with the Australian releases of the following products:

AccountRight Standard v19

AccountRight Plus v19

AccountRight Premier v19

AccountRight Enterprise v19

Software name changes


The name and version number of each product in MYOBs business management software range has
changed:

For simplicity, the term AccountRight software is used to collectively refer to any variant in the AccountRight
range. When necessary, specific references are made to a single product, for example, AccountRight
Enterprise.

Internal ODBC Error changes


Several internal ODBC error messages have been modified to account for product name changes and
terminology changes. For example, references to data files have been changed to company files.
The following error messages have been updated:

The library files "ctmyob32.dll" and "MYOBSp32.dll" are missing for this version. Please make
sure that you have the most up-to-date version of the ODBC driver installed. The latest installer
can be found on the AccountRight installation CD.

Unable to launch AccountRight - Database specified in the connection string is already opened
exclusively by another application

20091

An initialisation error with the AccountRight application has occurred

20099

<TableName> is not available for AccountRight Standard

20101

User Name restrictions prevent the writing of data to the company file

20102

The company file selected is not compatible with this version of the ODBC Driver.

GetProductID Stored Procedure changes


The possible results of the GetProductID stored procedure have changed.
