that allows the government to help people pay for their insurance premiums. The people who
brought the case say the literal wording of the provision only allows the federal government to
subsidize insurance premiums in states that have set up their own insurance exchanges. The
government says Congress intended to allow the federal government to subsidize premiums in all 50
states.
