communicate during the activity.

State Objectives
Objectives:Students will be able to
Define what is cyber bullying
Describe the difference between bullying and cyber bullying
Recognize inappropriatebehavioral language online.
Identify the effects of cyber bullying
Formulate ways to deal with cyber bullying
Strategies:The teachers will perform a skit about cyber bullying. This is to introduce the lesson.
At the end of the skit, the students will talk about what they think the lesson will be
based on. Interactive learning will take place as well as cooperative and independent
learning. The students will be listening, discussing, solving problems, writing
collaboratively, and sharing feelings and emotions.

Utilize Media, Materials, and Methods


Preview the materials:
The teachers will ensure that the video is playing, and age appropriate.
The teachers will test all materials before sending students on assignment.
The teacher will ensure that the worksheet is available for everyone.
The skit will be practiced to have a good transition.
Prepare the materials:
Ensure the video is downloaded in case of technical difficulties
Ensure the interactive visual aid is functioning
Ensure that one group is working on the computer that has the projector to project their
google docs
Prepare the learners:
At the beginning of the lesson, students will listen attentively to the skit performed.
The students will learn that bullying comes in different forms; the bottom line is, it affects and
hurts the feelings of others.
Cyber bullying uses technology- internet and phones. The teacher will assure students that when
they are faced with a scenario like cyber bullying, they must get an adult involved. Students will
complete an individual assignment in order to find the difference between bullying and
cyberbullying.
Provide the learning experiences:
During the skit students are viewing definition of cyberbullying. After the presentation, students
will discuss what they think and talk about how theyfeel about cyber bullying.Students will
view a video about cyberbullying and express how they would treat a friend who is being
cyberbulliedusingGoogle Docs.

Require students participation.


The students will be given the opportunity to discuss and share about the lesson with each other.
Feedback:
Teacher will ask question how would they treat a friend who is being cyber bullied.
Group:
Students will collaborate writing in Google Doc how they would treat a friend who is cyber
bullied.
Independent learning:
Students will complete assignments on worksheet on the difference between bullying and
cyberbullying.
Homework

Students will create crossword a puzzle at www.puzzlemaker.com with words they have learned.
