Canadian Solar Camel Energy Storage System

(ESS) is equipped with bidirectional inverter,
battery pack, energy management unit and
switches. The Camel ESS has two automatic
power charging modes, on-grid and off-grid.
When grid is down during emergency, the
energy storage system will automatically
switch to off-grid mode.
Camel ESS is a great investment in saving your
energy bill as you can charge the battery by
solar energy during the day and use electricity
from the battery during peak rate hours. In
addition, Camel ESS system is a highly reliable
energy source in emergency when utility is down.

During the day, Solar system will first charge Camel

ESS until the battery bank is full and then power the
household load. When night falls, household load will
be powered by Camel ESS system.

Applications

Saving Electric Bills

Camel energy storage, when combined with a
PV system, is a very good investment in saving
energy bill for residents in the states with higher
electric charge rates. A Camel ESS system can
save a household energy consumption during the
daytime by directly charging the battery system
with solar energy and use the power stored in the
battery bank at night when the electricity rate is
high. For example, a 3 kW PV system combined
with a Canadian Solar Camel ESS could raise the
self-consumption ratio up to 70%.

your ESS or not?
Yes, our ESS is able to work with your current
PV system.

Can the ESS battery be replaced and

recycled?
Battery can be recycled after ending the
normal lifetime according to local electrical and
environmental protection regulations. We also
provide a backup battery package to replace
battery failure.

of Camel ESS?

What is the total size?

According to the battery cycle life, our ESS
has a 4000 cycles lifetime.

Consequently, the power outlets may be energized even if the system is disconnected from the AC
