Marketing strategy

Many people refer to marketing being the same thing with selling or sales but it is totally
different taking in consideration the fact that marketing takes care of a wider part of issues.
Marketing involves strategies, how to tackle the market ( promotion - how to promote your
business, what would be a better way to do that; price- what kind of prices should be applied in
order to be approachable to everyone ; location - which would be the proper location to run your
business; product - what kinds of product or services would suit better the need of the
customers), what would be the proper location to perform a business on long run.
The name of the social business wants to grasp to the opportunity of doing a better
society, having in mind a mission and a vision that involves all the parties: us,
customers(students between 1st and 4th grades) and partners.
Starting from a market analyzing in Deva, county Hunedoara, we figured out that (social issue) is
the need of the personal development that would be necessary. Students mind being easier to be
shaped in the tier of the students between 1st and 4th grades ( 7 14 years old ). And we will
take this chance by implementing this business, taking in consideration the fact that there is no
such a business in the county, 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers...
Mission: our mission is to offer our best to all the customers, always striving for bringing new
ways of life development studying, materials, technologies, finding new ways to help the
students.
Vision: our vision is not primordially about our start up, but students. We truly believe in a
future, where all the students will be well educated, informed, having succeed in their life due to
eager of a change in this society, and this to be transmitted further, one to another, and future
generation.
All this idea came up from the need of a better education environment in our society,
from the need of competent generations, both well-educated and informed, competent
generations that can make better future difference in our society than the previous generation did.
This project will give the opportunity to students to enlarge their life perspective
(personal and professional knowledge), thus the involvement of the colleges would be a
paramount need for us and also it is an opportunity for them by being part to all this changes in
the students life perspective, an extracurricular activity that should be grasped by all.
Being a startup and actually the only one of this kind in Deva, we started by making a
market analysis. Firstly, we have run some surveys a.s.o among people (500 surveys completed)
and colleges (12 out of 20 total number of colleges in Deva ). The results were unexpected, in the

tier of people a number of 143out of 500 people would like to join a such a program, while 276
people are interest and would like to find out more about, and the rest of them not interested.
What is in it for students?
Students are the one that should not be told what to do or not, but guided, being let to
choose their own path. And we do have so many proofs to this approve this affirmation. We do
have Olympics students that gained so many awards: gold, bronze, silver metal, students that
know their abilities of assimilating information and due to not so challenging education
environment they do want to go abroad. We want to change this through this project by offering
the student a larger range of options which can stimulate their interest.

As the colleges, we surveyed 12 out of 20, are more receptive to the idea than we expected
10 (Colegiul National "Decebal", Colegiul National "Aurel Vlaicu", Colegiul National de
Informatica "Traian Lalescu", Colegiul National "Iancu de Hunedoara", Colegiul National "I.C.
Bratianu", Liceul Teoretic "Silviu Dragomir", Liceul Teoretic "Mihai Eminescu", Liceul de
Muzica si Arte Plastice "Sigismund Toduta", Colegiul Tehnic "Transilvania", Colegiul Tehnic
"Matei Corvin") out of 12 colleges want to be involved in the project and help us with.
What are the colleges willing to offer: rooms, promote for 2 month the project all along with
giving some incentives to the students that will join the program. Inkinds: projectors, materials
(chocks, paper).
What is in it for them?
We all know that the education system in our country suffered lots of modification in the
last years and that affected the students perception regarding the Romanian education system.
Most of them want to go abroad since a juvenile ages, thinking to a high-school, a faculty, a
master study abroad, due to the fact that our education system offers nothing more than

knowledge, also sometimes those being insufficient, without any practicality or/and future career
perspectives. By this project with the help from colleges representatives we want to show the
students that we can do something better for their future as an individual.

Taking in consideration that this is a startup the promotion will be achieved by different
ways:

1st with help from our partners( colleges) each teacher will take few minutes to present
the project to the students, also will be organize a conference where parents will be
invite to find out more about the project and why is it so relevant? Mouth to mouth
methods in this way we hoped to reach a bigger number of applicants.
2nd social network (Facebook), and flyer distributed to adults, they having the authority
to decide on behalf of their children.

On the long run having partnership with the above mentioned colleges we hope that in the
near future to expand our business in other cities, by having an impact in the students education
development at a wider range. Therefore our partnership with this colleges and our future success
in the shape of the students education we want to create new partnership where big companies
to be involved in the future.
SWOT ANALYSIS
