IP address configuration for connecting FUSOConnect

(1) Please log on as administrator.

(2) Right-click My network on the desktop, and then click Properties.

Click!

(3) "Network Connections" window is displayed.

Select and right-click on [Local Area Connection], and click [Properties].

Click!

(4) "Local Area Connection Properties" window is displayed.

(5) Select [Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)], and click the "Properties" button.

Click!

(6) "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties" window is displayed.

(7) Select [Use the following IP address], and input parameters for [IP address] and [Subnet
mask] as follows: [IP address]: 172.29.127.1, [Subnet mask]: 255.255.255.0

(8) Close "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties" window by clicking the OK button.

Click!

(9) Close "Local Area Connection Properties" window by clicking the OK button.

Click!

"IP address configuration for connecting FUSOConnect" is now complete.

Go to "2. FusoConnect Management Number Configuration".

FusoConnect Management Number Configuration

(1) Activate FUSOConnect.

Push green button.

(2) Connect your computer and FUSOConnect using LAN cable.

[Note] Use crossover LAN cable when connecting.

(3) Check that the following three icons are indicated in the task tray in the lower right of the
screen.

(4) It points at a cursor in one of three icons and right-click, and then click Administration.

(5) "SD Connection Toolkit - Management" window is displayed. Click the
[Registration/Configuration] tab.
Click!

(6) Click [00/Cable Connected].

(7) Click [00] on [Name Selection].

Click!

(8) "SD Connection Name Selection" window is displayed. Select management number [01]
(*1), and click the "OK" button.

If you own more than one
FUSOConnect, select
management numbers from
[01] accordingly.

(9) The [Management number] selected in step (8) is indicated in the [Name Selection] field.

(10) Click the "Start" button. FUSOConnect is automatically re-activated.

Click!

Unless the management number is changed the management number configuration for one
FUSOConnect unit should be done only once.
"FusoConnect Management Number Configuration" is now complete.
Go to "3. FusoConnect Selection".

FUSOConnect Selection

(1) Move mouse to any of the below icons in the task tray in the lower right of the screen, and
left-click.
Left-click!

(2) "SD Connection Toolkit - Unit Selection" window is displayed, and the management
numbers registered in the FUSOConnect are displayed in the list.

(3) Select the FUSOConnect management number that you would like to use with your
computer.

(4) Click the "Select" button.

Click!

(5) The selected FUSOConnect management number is displayed as an icon in the task tray in
the lower right of the screen.

"FusoConnect Selection" is now complete.
