Observing a droplet from the tip of an injector needle, bubbling of mobile phase on the
needle seat, or the continued appearance of mobile phase in the waste line of the
injection valve (port #4) most likely indicates a cross-port leak in the injection valve.
Replacement of the rotor seal in the injection valve corrects this problem. Following is
a procedure for replacing the rotor seal in the 1100 Series Autosampler. If after
replacement of the rotor seal the leakage persists, contact Agilent Technologies
Customer Assist Center, 1-800-227-9770.
