one must know the difference in the composition of fenugreek seed and debitterised
fenugreek, debitterised&,deproteinised methi seeds.

Technically removal of bitter taste is called debitterised, which generally thought to be in

lipids hence removal of it will give debitterest fenugreek seed powder.
This keeps the protein content is the same.
Where as in fenufibre, it is debitterised as well as deproteined.
Both lipids, proteins and generally starch are removed, keeping only fiber in tact, which
constitutes 52 percent of total seeds..
Thus Fenu fiber composition is different from fenugreek seeds and debitterised methi
seeds.
This has to borne in mind to get effective control in diabetes.
