the route (on the left) to the end (on the right). Route 3 travels through the Mendenhall Valley to Auke Bay.
Route 4 travels to Auke Bay and returns through the Mendenhall Valley.

Accessible Service

All Capital Transit buses are accessible. If you have not used our accessible service please call us at
789-6902 to discuss your needs. We can provide training and assistance to make using the bus easier.

Fare

The fare is just $2.00 in each direction of travel, $1.00 for youth 18 years old and younger. Children five years
and younger travel free when accompanied by an adult. Transfers between routes shown on the schedule
are free.

How to Pay

You may pay with exact change, Capital Transit token, or monthly pass. Tokens cost $31.50 for a roll of
20. Monthly passes cost $40. They are available at the Municipal Building, 155 South Seward Street;
the Mendenhall Valley Public Library in the Mendenhall Mall; and at the customer service counter of Fred
Meyer. Sales tax is included. Please board with exact fare. Capital Transit drivers do not make change.
