Preface
Engineers Australia, Queensland Division has the pleasure of presenting the
Engineering Undergraduate Vacation Employment Handbook.
The Handbook is designed to assist Student members in finding the
compulsory vacation employment that they need to complete their studies. It
covers all disciplines and provides students with a comprehensive list of
positions being offered over the upcoming vacation periods. It should be noted
that the list of companies given in this guide is not exhaustive. Students are
encouraged to use the information contained in this Handbook to investigate
as many opportunities as possible.
The information within the Handbook was obtained from engineering
companies in Queensland. Engineers Australia expresses its thanks to all
companies that have demonstrated their support for the future of engineering
in this State. Your support for the future of engineering in our community is
appreciated.
The handbook also provides information on job planning which will be useful
when preparing for a career as an engineer.
We hope that the information contained in this handbook is valuable in the
search for vacation employment and we wish Members luck in the search.
