. From the Church Office

• 2010 Quarterly Giving Statements will be available via email (in pdf format). If you would
like to receive your statement in an email, please contact the church office.
• The remainder of the 2009 Giving Statements have been mailed out. If you have not
already picked it up, please look for yours in the mail. If you did not get your statement,
please contact the church office.
• Remember to check and empty your church mailbox on a regular basis. This will leave
room for new mail. Thank you!
• In the event of new snow, please be sure to park on the east side of the lot when visiting
Zion UMC through the week. This will give our “snow angels” room to clear our sidewalks
and ramp as soon as possible. We appreciate your cooperation.

If you have a request for the prayer chain, please e-mail your prayer request to Connie Sherwood
at csherwood@gfschools.org or floblue@aol.com, or contact the church office.

.Parish Nurse
For health questions and/or concerns, our Parish Nurse, Bette Olson, can be reached on her cell

. Items Needed for Health Kits – Help Us Reach 70 Kits!

58 completed Health Kits have been donated thus far. THANK YOU, ZION! We are in need of the
following items to reach a grand total of 70 kits to go to Wesley UMC next week:
• 13 Combs
• 16 Washcloths
• 16 Toothbrushes
• 17 Hand Towels
• 16 Nail Files or Nail Clippers.
Giving cash is also an option as each kit needs $1.00 for toothpaste and $1.00 for shipping.
Please bring in your donation(s) by Sunday, February 14th. All completed kits will be taken to
Wesley on February 17th.

. Help New Americans
• New American Services is in need of the following items: Living room seating (couches,
chairs, love-seats), alarm/wall clocks, twin sheets, twin blankets and comforters are among
the most-needed items. If you have a new or gently used item(s) that can be donated
please call the New American Services office at 772-8552. Thank you!
• Global Friends Coalition is launching a mentoring program for new Americans. If you are
interested in becoming a mentor, please contact the church office.
