Located within the hustle bustle of the city life of Ahmedabad, India; Enchanted Forest is a development of six residential quarters along with two club
buildings and a utility structure for six members of a close knit family. These
houses are placed amidst thick forest-like wild plantation with centrally located water-body to which all the houses are oriented to. These houses are
located on separate hills that are created for them.
Thus the undulating site leads to creating valleys that slope down to centrally
located water-body. The valleys are planted with tall wild grasses and shrubs
and are lined with boulders at the edges. The same trails lead up to secluded
sit out plazas.
Main vehicular movement that is 6 mt wide takes place around the periphery
of the development adjacent to the thick plantation. Such strategic location

of the vehicular movement does not disturb the tranquil and discreet environment of the development. Centrally located water-body with an island allows
a large open space where recreational activities of many kinds at a large scale
can take place.
The program for the house to design will have a built up of ground floor and
first floor. It will be connected to an outhouse for the guestroom and banquet
area along with the swimming pool. Some green fingers of thick plantation
from the periphery extend till the houses and give them the feel of being
surrounded by the forest. Apart from the thick plantation, the house will also
have formal gardens with lawns and flowers.
The site development has taken into consideration Vastu implications.

Panchshil Towers
Luxury High Rise Residential Development
Design Development & Construction Documents

Located a few minutes away from the business districts of Kalyani Nagar and
Koregaon Park, the development is part of an 100-acre residential developement by Panchshil Developers. The 17-acre high-rise construction is Phase I
of the project along with independent villas and bungalows. The Panchshil
Towers consists of 9 towers of 34 floors each built over a 4-level podium. It
has three towers of 4bhk apartments and 4 towers of 3bhk apartments. The
sizes of the apartment ranges from 3000- 6000 sq. ft based on the configuration. All residences have attached exterior viewing decks. The podium level is
a 5- bedroom villa configuration and the top floors are composed as 3-level
penthouses. All towers are centrally air-conditioned with lobbies configured
to connecting game rooms and recreation centers. All towers are connected

on the podium along with a clubhouse, pool, playground and amphitheatre
for all the residents.
The project has a pre-approval of LEED Silver rating. The landscape covers usable outdoor spaces accounting for nearly 50% of open space. The contours
of the site and landforms are modified to encourage interactions. Aesthetics
are designed to integrate topography, vegetation, structures and water along
with replanted indigenous plants softening the landscape.
The architecture follows a modernistic style with a visual emphasis on clean
lines through a combination of glass and steel. The construction technology
used in the project is tunnel-form and is one of the pioneer projects in India
to use the technology at this scale.
