Entradas, Herramientas y Tcnicas, Salidas de los 47 procesos de la Gua del PMBoK 5ta

Es muy importante memorizar las entradas, tcnicas y salidas de cada uno de los 47 procesos
que aparecen en la gua del PMBOK 5ta. Edicin. La razn es muy simple, en el examen de
Certificacin como PMP aparecen varias preguntas al respecto y la memorizacin de las
mismas aumentan la probabilidad de aprobar el examen.
Incrementar el xito de aprobar el examen es muy buen argumento para memorizar estos
ITTOs, pero cuantos son? Aqu es donde esta actividad se torna mas compleja ya que
tenemos: 256 Entradas, 209 Tcnicas y 153 Salidas, totalizando 618 ITTOs.
Si a esto agregamos que el recurso escaso para todos aquellos que estn preparando el
examen de certificacin es el Tiempo para redactar un resumen de los mismos para luego
leerlos una y otra vez, la complejidad y la dificultad aumentan.
Es por ello que he preparado esta tabla en Excel, con filtros de modo tal que podemos buscar
ITTOs especficos para saber en qu procesos se encuentran o inversamente qu ITTOs
aparecen en un proceso especfico. Adicionalmente hay estadsticas para cada proceso, grupo
de proceso, etc.
Esta tabla ayuda enormemente la memorizacin ya que es una herramienta de consulta
permanente. Cuando se lee el PMBOK, cuando se est estudiando las preguntas de examen,
cuando se intenta comprender la complejidad de las interacciones entre procesos. Es un
recurso que no insume tiempo de elaboracin, ya est hecho.
Muchos preguntan si hay que memorizar los 618 ITTOs para presentarse en el examen. Y

mi recomendacin es que usen la tabla para memorizar la mayor cantidad y en particular


aquellos ITTOs destacados como: los planes de gestin; Scope; WBS; Change Requests;
Work Performances; Final product, etc.
