THE FUNDAMENTAL LAWS OF ROYAL FAMILY OF RUTHENIA

Persenburg-Gtzdorf, May 28, 2015

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, OSCAR I, by the Grace of God and the Will of the People, King of
Ruthenia, in respect of Article 7, Chapter I of our Constitution, do hereby decree and
promulgate the Fundamental Laws of Royal Family of Ruthenia, which reads as follows:

CHAPTER I
General Principles
1. The Royal Family of Ruthenia is an established family community and organized
based on this Dynastic Statute. Its composition will comprise members by birth, by
adoption or by marriage, only in accordance with what is set forth herein.
2. The Head of the Royal House of Ruthenia, by practice and convention, is the King of
the Ruthenians in terms of his authority over the Royal House, at any time. At the time
of death or abdication of His Royal Majesty, the Crown Prince, the one who is first in
line of sucession to the Throne, will assume the style of King or Queen.
3. The present Head of the Royal House of Ruthenia is Oscar, the First.
4. The hereditary noble titles of the Head of the Royal House of Ruthenia are: King of
the Ruthenians, Grand Duke of Scandia, Grand Duke of Grevenia and Caledonia,
Prince de Thomaz-Rocha, Count of Gtz, Duke of Persenburg-Gtzdorf, Lord of Alto
da Solido, Hereditary Prince of gua Branca and Other Domains, Prince of the Land
of St. Stephen and Duke of the Land of St. Peter and St. Paul and Grand-Master of
Royal Order of St. Stephen and of the Orders of St. Peter and St. Paul.
CHAPTER II
Residence and Citzenship
5. For the purposes of right of sucession, all members of the Royal House should be
Ruthenian citizens and live within the borders of the Kingdom of Ruthenia. The change
of nationality or bear other than the Ruthenian nationality result in the loss of the right
of sucession.

CHAPTER III
Royal House Genealogical Register
6. His Majesty's Office will keep a record of all living members of the Royal House
called Genealogical Register of the Royal House. An official appointed by His Royal
Majesty will be in charge of maintaining such registration in order and this register
should contain names of its members and their titles, consorts and children of all
branches of the Royal House.

CHAPTER IV
Marriage, Offspring, Adoption and Divorce
7. The adoption of sons and daughters by members of any branch of the Royal House
shall be subject to prior approval of His Royal Majesty, but this is not supported by any
provision or right of succession conceived by this Statute.
8. The marriage of members of the Royal House must be previously authorized by the
current Head of the Royal House. The husband or wife of a member of the Royal House
will adopt the titles and styles of the spouse.
9. A marriage to be realized without regard to the paragraph above will not be
recognized dynastically for any purpose and will result in the revocation of all rights,
honors, privileges and prerogatives that would accompany him in accordance with this
Statute.
10. The divorce of members of the Royal House is subject to approval of the Head of
the Royal House before the appropriate legal action.
11. The titles of the descendants of members of the Royal House must be approved by
His Majesty. Without confirmation, no title or treatment style should be assigned.
12. The children of members of the Royal House whose parents have lost their rights,
privileges or titles may not succeed their parents, unless otherwise expressly stated by
His Majesty granted by decree.

CHAPTER V

and privileges of the Royal House through all means at its disposal.
17. The Head of the Royal House owns and retains all rights as "fons honorum" and
continues to grant titles, awards, decorations, orders, honors and medals, both as Head
of the Royal House as the exercise of their functions of Head of State.

CHAPTER VI
