Diese Herstellerinformation gilt fr alle von acurata GmbH & Co. KG gelieferten Instrumente, die fr die Podologie/Fupflege eingesetzt werden und wiederverwendbar sind. Dies betrifft die rotierenden Instrumente wie
Hartmetallfrser sowie Diamant- und Polierinstrumente. Das Produktsortiment umfasst ausschlielich unsteril gelieferte Instrumente, diese sind vor dem erstmaligen Gebrauch aufzubereiten.
Begrenzung der Wiederaufbereitung:
Das Ende der Produktlebensdauer wird grundstzlich von Verschlei und Beschdigung durch den Gebrauch
bestimmt. Hufiges Wiederaufbereiten hat keine leistungsbeeinflussenden Auswirkungen auf diese Instruauf dem Etikett) drfen nicht wiederverwendet werden und

(z. B. acurata Instrumentenstnder aus Edelstahl) erfolgen.
Reinigung und Desinfektion:
Gem Empfehlung des Robert Koch Institutes (RKI) sollte die Aufbereitung bevorzugt maschinell erfolgen.
Maschinelle Reinigung und thermische Desinfektion verwendete Ausstattung:
Reinigungsbrste (ohne besondere Anforderungen), Reinigungs-/Desinfektionsgert (RDG) (z. B. Miele mit
Vario TD Programm), Reinigungsmittel (z. B. 0,5% Reiniger Neodisher mediclean), Instrumentenstnder fr
rotierende, oszillierende Instrumente (z. B. acurata Instrumentenstnder aus Edelstahl).
Verfahren: Instrumentarium unmittelbar vor der maschinellen Aufbereitung aus dem Instrumentenstnder
nehmen und im kalten Wasserbad (Temp.<20 C) brsten bis alle sichtbaren Verschmutzungen entfernt
sind. Die Instrumente in den aufgeklappten Instrumentenstnder einladen. Maschinelle Reinigung gem den
Vorgaben des Herstellers starten (z. B. Programm Vario TD: 2 min. Vorreinigung, 5 min. reinigen bei 55 C
mit Reinigungsmittel, 3 min. neutralisieren, 2 min. zwischensplen, letzte Splung mit VE-Wasser 5 min. bei
>90 C). Sichtprfung auf Unversehrtheit und Sauberkeit mit geeignetem Vergrerungsobjekt (empfohlen
wird 8-10 fache Vergrerung). Sind nach der Aufbereitung noch Restkontaminationen auf dem Instrument zu
erkennen, Reinigung und Desinfektion wiederholen bis keine Kontamination mehr sichtbar ist.
Manuelle Reinigung und Desinfektion von rotierenden Instrumenten (Nass/Chemisch) verwendete Ausstattung:
Reinigungsbrste (z.B. Kunststoffbrste, sterilisierbar), Ultraschallbad, Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel

fr Dentalinstrumente mit geprfter Wirksamkeit (z. B. BIB forte eco Fa. Alpro Medical), Instrumentenstnder
fr rotierende, oszillierende Instrumente (z.B. acurata Instrumentenstnder aus Edelstahl).
Verfahren: Instrumentarium unmittelbar vor der manuellen Aufbereitung aus dem Instrumentenstnder nehmen und im kalten Wasserbad (Temp.<20 C) brsten bis alle sichtbaren Verschmutzungen entfernt sind.
Instrument und Instrumentenstnder unter flieendem Wasser absplen. Instrumentarium in einem geeigneten Siebbehltnis in das Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel befllte Ultraschallgert geben. Reinigung und
Desinfektion gem der Angaben der Hersteller des Ultraschallbades und der Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel durchfhren; z. B. BIB forte eco 3% - 10 min. bei 55 C geprft nach EN 14476. Instrument nach
Ablauf der Einwirkzeit grndlich mit geeignetem Wasser (z. B. VE-Wasser) absplen. Instrumentarium bevorzugt mit Druckluft trocknen. Sichtprfung auf Unversehrtheit und Sauberkeit mit geeignetem Vergrerungsobjekt (erfahrungsgem lsst eine 8-10 fache Vergrerung eine optische Sichtprfung zu). Sind auf dem
Instrument Restkontamination zu erkennen, Reinigung und chemische Desinfektion wiederholen, bis keine
Kontamination mehr sichtbar ist.
Abschlieende Aufbereitungsschritte:
Medizinprodukte Kritisch B: Sterilverpackung und Sterilisation
Verpackung:
Es ist eine fr das Instrument und Sterilisationsverfahren geeignete Verpackung zu whlen (z. B. Fa. VP Stericlin). Einzelverpackung: Die Sterilverpackung muss so gro sein, dass die Versiegelung nicht unter Spannung
steht. Im Set: Instrumente in das dafr vorgesehene Tray einsortieren oder auf Allzweck-Sterilisationstrays
legen. Die Instrumente mssen geschtzt sein. Zum Verpacken ist ein geeignetes Verfahren anzuwenden.
Sterilisation:
Eine erfolgreiche Dampfsterilisation im fraktionierten Vakuumverfahren bei 134 C, Haltezeit 5 min. (Vollzyklus) und einer Trocknungszeit von 10 min. ist nachgewiesen. Die Angaben des Gerteherstellers (z. B.
Dampfsterilisator Selectomat HP MMM) sind zu beachten.
Transport und Lagerung:
Der Transport und die Lagerung des verpackten Sterilguts erfolgt staub-, feuchtigkeits- und rekontaminationsgeschtzt.

Seitens des Herstellers ist sichergestellt, dass die oben angefhrten Aufbereitungsverfahren fr die Aufbereitung der genannten Instrumentengruppen zu deren Wiederverwendung geeignet
sind. Der Betreiber ist dafr verantwortlich, dass die tatschlich durchgefhrte Wiederaufbereitung mit verwendeter Ausstattung, Materialien und Personal die gewnschten Ergebnisse erzielt.

All acurata instruments are medical products, they are recognizable by the CE-marking on the label of each single packaging.
Products on page 19/20 are no medical products; they do not have a CE-marking.
Products:
The present manufacturers information applies to all instruments supplied by acurata GmbH & Co. KG that
are used for podiatry and foot care, which are reusable. These are rotating tungsten carbide, diamond and polishing instruments. The product range includes exclusively instruments delivered in non-sterile condition.
These have to be prepared prior to first use.
Limited number of reprocessing cycles:
The end of a products service life is determined by damage and wear caused by use. Frequent reprocessing
does not affect the performance of these instruments. Disposable products (marked on the label) shall
not be reused or reprocessed.
Storage and transport:
Place instruments immediately, at the latest an hour after the use on a patient, in a disinfection tank filled with
a suitable detergent/disinfectant (e. g. BIB forte eco). Drill bath is made of the concentrate with water in a concentration according to the instructions of the manufacturer (e. g. BIB forte eco 0,5-2%), first the water, then
the concentrate. Cover the tank. Pay attention to the application time (e. g. BIB forte eco 0,5% 60 min.). The
transport of the instruments to the place of preparation should be made in an instrument stand (e. g. acurata
instrument stand made of stainless steel).
Cleaning and disinfection:
According to the directive of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) it is preferential that further preparation occurs mechanically.
Automatic cleaning and thermal disinfection Equipment:
Cleaning brush (without special requirements), cleaning/disinfection device (RDG) (e. g. Miele with Vario TD

If there are areas of contamination visible, repeat cleaning and chemical disinfection until there is no more contamination visible.

Clean the instrument and the instrument stand under running water. Put the instrument into a strainer element and into the ultrasonic unit filled
with detergent and disinfectant. Cleaning and disinfection according to the instructions of the manufacturers
of the ultrasonic bath and the detergent and disinfectant; e. g. BIB forte eco 3% - 10 min. at 55 C according
to EN 14476. After the application time rinse the instrument thoroughly with appropriate water (e. g. VE-water). Dry the instruments preferably with compressed-air. Visual examination with an appropriate enlarger to
ensure that the instrument is clean and undamaged. (from experience an enlargement 8x 10x makes a visual examination possible). If there are areas of contamination visible, repeat cleaning and chemical disinfection until there is no more contamination visible.

Packaging:
An appropriate packaging for the instrument and the sterilization method has to be chosen (e. g. Fa. VP Stericlin). Individual packaging: The sterile packaging must be in a size, that the sealing is not under tension. In
a set: Store the instruments into the provided tray or put them onto an all-purpose sterilization tray. The instruments must be protected. For the packing an appropriate method has to be applied.
Sterilisation:
An effective steam sterilization is proven in the fractionated vacuum procedure at 134 C, holding time 5 min.
(full cycle) and drying time 10 min. Please follow the instructions of the equipment manufacturer (e. g. steam
sterilizer Selectomat HP MMM).
Transport and storage:
During transport and storage, the packed sterile goods must be protected from dust, moisture and recontamination.

Observe the legal regulations concerning the reprocessing of medical products valid in your country
(e. g. www.rki.de). The manufacturer assures that the reprocessing methods explicated above are appropriate for the reprocessing of the mentioned groups of instruments for their reutilization. The operator is responsible that the applied methods of reprocessing with the used equipment, material and staff realise the
required results.
