Roof Sheeting

Supplying & fixing 0.5 mm TCT colour coated Lloydeck

profile sheet as the bottom sheet having a crest height of 28
mm at 195 mm pitch made out of 0.5 mm TCT ( total coated
thickness) high tensile 550 Mpa Galvalume sheeting with
150 GSM galvaume coating on both sides and have XRW
coating of 20 microns over 5 micron epoxy primer on the
exposed side and 5 micron coating over 5 microns Over
epoxy primer on the reverse side confirming to ASTM A792
or AS 1397 factory cut and supplied in required lengths to
suit shop drawing the roofing sheet shall be crest fixed to
the purlins with galvanized self drilling and self tapping
screws of size 12-14 x 55 mm longof buildex /corrosheild
confirming to AS 1397 with EPDM Ceiling washers and with
butyl sealant and foam filler wherever necessary. Z Shaped
Sub-girts of size 50 x 50 x 50 mm made out of 1.6 mm thick
Galvanised steel will be fixed with self drilling and self
tapping fasteners to the bottom sheet.
Rocklloyd Rockwool slabs having density of 48 kg/M3 of 50
mm thick conforming to IS 8183 encased in black
Polythene bags is placed over the bottom sheet.
Special sheeting clips fabricated out of galvanised Steel
sheet of 22 SWG with minimum 120 gms/Sqm
Zinc coating of width 250 mm shall be fixed to the Sub girts
using 25 mm long self drilling wafer head GI fasteners.
Fixing of top sheet made out of colour coated Site profiled
Lloydkliplock high rib profiled sheet using mobile roll forming
unit of 500 mm cover width 47 mm crest height at
250
mm centre to centre made out of 0.55 mm total coated
thickness cold rolled 300 Mpa yield stress with hot dip
metallic coating of aluminium zinc alloy (150 gm/Sqm total
on both sides AZ 150 as per ASTM A792 or AS) having XRW
coating of 20 microns over 5 micron epoxy primer on the
exposed side and 5 micron coating over 5 microns over
epoxy primer on the reverse side. The sheets are press fixed
to the clips and get locked ensuring.

the Eaves level and profiled at site.

Specifications same as 1.01 but Alternatively fixing top

sheet using Lloyd standing Seam system using mobile roll
forming unit the Profile will have a crest height of maximum
50 mm with suitable cover width made out of 0.55 mm TCT
Colour coated galvalume steel of 550 Mpa and coating
Specification as specified in item -1. The standing seam
Profile shall be fixed on the clip provided on the purlins. The
clip shall be fixed to the purlins with wafer head Self drilling
self tapping fasteners. The site seaming Shall be done with
a special machine to ensure 100%Water tightness. The
sheets shall be without joints from the ridge to the Eaves
level and profiled at site.

Alternatively for 1.02 using 64 kg/M3 75 mm thick Rockwool

Insulation in lieu of 48 kg/M3 50 mm thick Rockwool
Insulation .

Roof Sheeting
Supply of colour coated on-site roll-formed LYSAGHT KLIPLOK 770 concealed system profile sheeting with nom 770
mm effective cover width, nominal nom 31 mm crest depth at
nominal pitch of nom 255 mm centre to centre distance
along with two stiffeners in between the ribs on top and
LYSAGHT FLEXICLAD profile sheeting with nom 1110 mm
effective cover width profile with nominal 11 mm deep ribs at
pitch of nominal 222 mm centre to centre distance with three
stiffeners in between the ribs on bottom side as a liner panel.
The feed material is manufactured out of nominal 0.45 mm
Base Metal Thickness (BMT), Hi-strength steel with min. 550
MPa yield strength, metallic hot dip coated with AluminiumZinc alloy (55% Aluminium, 45% Zinc) as per AS 1397
ZINCALUME steel AZ150 (Min. 150 gms/sq.mt total on both
sides) with COLORBOND steel quality paint coat as per
AS/NZS 2728 type 3-4 of BlueScope Steel make.

The paint shall have a total coating thickness of nominal 35

m, comprising of nominal 20 m exterior coat on top
surface and nominal 5 m reverse coat on back surface over
nominal 5 m primer coat on both surfaces of approved
colour shade by Architect / Project Manager. The steel
manufacturer's test certificate for the chemical and
mechanical properties of steel must be submitted for
approval by the Architect / Project Manager prior to
installation. The sheet shall have brand marking of the
manufacturer giving product details on the back of the sheet
at every 1 meter c/c for confirming genuinity of the material.

The profile sheet shall be rolled over specially designed

concealed fixing clip KL-77, manufactured from hi-tensile
Aluminium-Zinc alloy ZINCALUME steel base and
galvanized hooks as per manufacturers recommendation
and approved by Architect / Project Manager. The clip KL-77
shall be fastened with min. 40 m Zinc coated / min. 25 m
Zinc-Tin alloy coated, Hex head, self-drilling screw as per AS
3566-2002 Class 3 fasteners of approved make (Buildex or
equivalent).

ITEM DESCRIPTION
The fastener size shall be calculated as per the design. The
insulation shall be aluminum foil membrane supported
fiberglass blanket of thickness 50 mm with density 12 -24
kg/m3 shall be approved by Architect / Project Manager. The
Skylight shall be Ampelite panel of nominal 1.5 mm thick,
composed of a translucent, thermosetting polyester resin
with a thoroughly impregnated glass fiber reinforcing mat
(FRP) with an integrally bonded translucent film on the
weathering face comply with AS/NZS 4256. The profile
should match with cladding profile. The fixing shall be done
with specially designed Lapseal and weather-tight washer for
fixing the translucent sheeting. The profile sheet, fastener
size etc. shall be approved by the Architect / Project
Manager. All the accessories like gutter/ flashing / capping
shall be made from the same material (or manufacturers
recommendation) which is used for main cladding
application. The measurement shall be based on
finished/covered surface area.

Fixing of above item, the installation shall be done by

specialized agency or approved by the Project Manager.
Manufacturer's recommended installation methodology shall
be adopted for installation of above item. The contractor is to
take approval on the sheet profile, design and installation
methodology before installation of the sheets from the
Architect / Project Manager. All material used for installation
of above item shall be compatible with cladding material.
The installation includes profiled sheet, capping, trims,
flashing, gutter and all type of accessories considered for the
installation of above item. The installation measurement
shall be based on finished surface area.
