Hehascommonly said that this


practiceistheessenceof allBuddhist practice,becauseChenrezig istheembodiment of alltheBuddha'scompassion.Thisisan
especially degeneratetime attracted bymentalkleshas,and manypeopleareangry,causingdiscomfort and warto alltheworld.There
isno remedyforthisotherthan compassion.Compassion isnaturallypossessed byeverysentient being,yet you need to activate it
and fertilizeit thisisthepracticethat activatesourown compassion to bemorematureand onecan beawareof one'sown
negativitiesand defects. Thisbeingwillperceiveotherbeingsasmorepureand thiswillmakeroomforloveand compassion to all
sentient beings. Do not wait untilaproblem comes you haveto befamiliarized to preparetheremedywhen thetime comes.At least
everyday,onetime ortwo times,thispracticewillmakeadifferencein ourlives.Agreat beinglikeKalu Rinpochesaw that thiswould

and wisdom to all sentientbeingswithout exceptions thislife'sparents,relatives,friends,indifferentones,and enemies,without exception to all
beings,maythey befreeofsufferingsthatthey areexperiencing and followthepathwithout obstacles and quicklyreachthe state ofomniscience.

Theactual practice,onefocusesthemind onepointedly on theform ofthedeity,Avalokitesvara.Asdetailedaspossible,hold all oftheattributes,


colors,ornamentsand shape.Atthesametime,all oftheform ofwhatyou arefocusing on ismereappearance,theinseparability ofemptiness
and luminosity.Appear,yet empty.Empty,yet appearance.Onecan keepone'smind withoutdistraction,thenonementally visualizeverbally
reciting mantra,OhManiPeme Hung.Whileyou aredoing this,sometimeyou willrelaxyourmind to appearanceandemptiness,orsound and
emptiness.You canalternate these during sessions.Silently,you can relaxyourmind on Mahamudra.When you reappearfrom silence,yourform
again isdeity,sound ismantraand theenvironment istheperfectpureland.

AlloftheSadhana in short,therearethreedifferentstages.Thefirststageisveryimportantto take refugeto theBuddha,Dharmaand Sangha


withsincere devotion and also generatealtruism withloveand compassion to all beings,andonededicatesone'spracticeto completely liberate all
beingsfrom suffering and obtain omniscience.
