1.0INTRODUCTION
1.1OVERVIEW
Thecollapseanalysisviewprogram,calledCollapseView(Collvue),isaninteractivegraphicspostprocessorthatallowsforthereviewingof
nonlinearanalysisresultsinthesameenvironmentasPrecedeandPostvue.Theprogramallowsforviewingofdeflectedshapes,includingthe
displacementofelementsubsegments,andthegradualplastificationofelementsforanyloadincrement.Theprogramalsoprovidesextensiveplot
andreportcapabilitiesthatallowforthestructureelastoplastichistoryandfailuremechanismtoberepresentedgraphicallyorinreportform.
CollapseViewrequiresacollapseanalysisresultsorrestartfile,createdbytheCollapseprogrammodule.Theresultsfilecontainsallcollapse
analysisinformationrequiredtoexecutetheCollapseViewprogramincludinganalysisresultsandmostmodelinformation.Inadditiontothecollapse
analysisrestartorresultsfile,aSACSmodelfilemayalsobespecifiedtobereadbytheCollapseViewprogram.TheSACSmodelfileisonly
requiredifviews,facesorplansdefinedinthemodelaretobeusedoriftwolinerepresentationofnontubularmembersisdesired

loadstepsfromtheendoftherestartfile,orreadagivennumberofstepsfromthestartofrestartfile.Thescalefactorforzoomcanalsobesetfrom
thisoption.Thesettingsoptionalsoallowstheusertolabeljointfailureswithacircle.
