C. Executive Summary:
Our business Plan is to establish Magic School in Magic is a universal language that
motivates and excites people particularly young. The magical arts which include sleight of
hand, illusions, juggling and mime are an excellent medium through which to nurture holistic
life skills improve confidence and self-esteem, individuality, respect, self-discipline, creativity
and also the hope to achieve dreams by enabling individuals to be self-employed.
Todays Pakistani youth face a multitude of challenges. Problems such as poverty, violence,
drugs, crime and the scourge of the terrorism pandemic have permeated the very fabric of our
society, and are contributing in general to the lack of hope experienced by our young people.
There is a pressing need for creative initiatives to transform our youth and give them hope for the
future.
By sponsoring a student you can touch the life of a child in Pakistan in a special way. Even a
modest contribution will assist in the training of this young individual, opening doors to so many
opportunities. Over the past 30 years it has become evident that in order to effectively run our
organization ongoing funding is an essential part of the equation. Our goal with the Sponsor a
Student initiative is to secure a solid foundation of continuous support so that we can employ the
majority of our resources into what we do best making a difference in the lives of young

peoples through the art of magic. By sponsoring a student in need, we offer you the opportunity
to actively get involved in transforming a young

persons life. Our Magic in the Community

initiative offers young people multiple opportunities to succeed nurturing hope and vision for the
future.
Our business plan is of a magic school business initially in Islamabad and then later on in all
major cities of Pakistan. After a market research we have found that no organized and established
business of magic school is running currently however very limited number of magicians is
running their business informally. There are just 12 qualified magicians in Pakistan and the
number of magicians in the whole continent of Asia is 92 (refernces..) though magic school is
well established business in European countries. Thus this is quite a new idea in Pakistan and
we are introducing this for the first time in such an organized way; consequently we will be the
trend setter of this business here in Pakistan.
We have made a market survey and found that there is demand for such services in the market. In
the response to survey on social media, people responded very much positively and showed
interest in magic school in the presence of chaotic situation in the country for the sake of
relaxation and innovativeness. They further said that such schools can increase the skills of
peoples which will help in minimizing the unemployment rate in the future. So we have vast
market opportunity and very limited number of competitors. After through market analysis, we
have proposed a business plan.
We are planning to start our Magic business school business initially from the market of
Islamabad and will expand it to all major cities of Pakistan. We would hire a building on rent in
I-8 Markaz Islamabad because this area is easily approachable for our target market around the
city of Islamabad For the operations of our proposed business we would hire a building on rent
in Islamabad. Our human resource will be comprised of three top class magicians as teachers in
our school, a peon and a security guard, and furniture for the offices and class rooms. Initially
our target will be at-least 200 students so we will need almost one hundred chairs for two class
rooms. For running our business and maintaining our MIS (Management Information System)
department we will need computers and an IT professional for its operations. We are planning to
purchase 3 computers for the running business as well as to stay in touch with the social media to
run our marketing campaign. Furthermore after corresponding with our magician staff we have

concluded that we would need some magic tools. After thoroughly assessing and estimating our
needs we have found that initial investment of approximately Rs. 350,000/- will be enough to
start up our business.
Details can be found in attached annexure (A) in income statement form. Whats more, your
support will shine a beacon of hope in a young life knowing that someone cares.

D. General Business Description:

a. Introduction & rationale of opportunity & business Idea (You need to justify that
Business is viable):
As our business idea is to run magic school in Islamabad, after market analysis (SWOT, IFE &
EFE matrices,), we believe that this business carries prospective profits. There are
many reasons for success of this idea; there is huge demand in market for magic school, as a
mass of people are interested in learning magic, beside that in current traffic century people
want something that provide both learning and fun. And MMS is the best alternative. Besides we
have a huge market space as there is no well-organized established business, thus no competitor
threat. Due to such a huge market space, elevated demand and low competition level this
business become quite viable.
b. Background of the entrepreneurial team:
c. Industry analysis:
After making a market analysis and research we have come to the conclusion that the magic
business has a vast opportunity and space. Though very few individuals are running businesses
of magic but there are no established academies and businesses of the magic. So we have opt for
this business in an organized and established way because we have observed that there is a great
customer market looking for such business in an organized way.
a) Demand of the industry (Total units demanded by market over time):
It is another success factor for any business but sometime it is not necessary that demand in
market must exist, in some instances demand can be created through innovation or targeting

basic need (like money for survival). And our magic school is an opportunity that can be
converted into market demand.
b) Supply of the industry (Total units supplied by the current players):

c) Number of players in industry:

d) Growth trends of the industry (Minimum for past 3 years & Maximum 5 years):
e) Stage of development of industry (Introduction/Growth/Maturity/Decline):
The industry is totally in introduction stage. A great demand exist and supply ratio is very low.
So there is a chance of garbing market shares.
Major threats and opportunities of the industry:
There is almost no or very less threats for that industry.
Magic art can be marked as a distinct industry in future in Pakistan, for instance few
decades ago there was no such private tuition industry but now a day it is a good industry in
Pakistan, According to the Annual Survey of Education Report (ASER) 2012, 34% of private
school students and 17% of public school students take private tuition in the Punjab. As Magic
art is the Combination of an entertainment (fun) industry and learning or education industry.
